I’d be on this like white on rice. I despise shopping in cities with a passion as it always ends up being an agonizing event of sensory saturation for me.
I would just make sure the items I want are stocked and stipulate no substitutions to pepsi (coke or ginger ale only), or any other product I wont buy/use under any circumstance.

I’ve noticed something else recently at my local store. First, I should clarify that I’m rather efficient with the checkout process. I get the items out of my cart with refrigerated items first, then non-refrigerated, then large items. It should making packing the bags (I bring my own) easier. I usually have the belt loaded before they start scanning, and have the CC processed before the final scan.
So it’s not uncommon for me to be done checking out, waiting on the bagging to finish.

These days, it’s also not uncommon for the bagger to be a woman, either young or old. And I usually don’t lift a finger to help…and I get dirty looks for that. One woman actually asked me if I was going to help her bag my groceries.. I was kind of taken a back, I should have reported her to the manager.

I can’t imagine they would treat a woman customer this way.

if i worked there, the women would probably elect to not have their carts pushed ’cause i’m an ugly &(^*. but then again, they can push their own @#%@$^& carts. ^&$# them.
