When a person is starving the person is not thinking about grand global politics, the person is thinking about where their next meal is going to come from, and where the person will get the next meal for their family.

The person has gone into survival mode. This is like tunnel vision. The person is not thinking about the long term future, the person is thinking solely about the moment to continue to exist, if not life and to make sure those they care for continue to live.

When there are cities full of such people, if the problem of food is not solved, there is eventually food riots.

Food riots are the more dangerous form of riots.

In some ways, a food riot is worse than a conventional battle with firearms being fought in a cities. A food riot is what happens when all civilized rules break down.

During a food riot, people are not acting out of greed, or anger, but out of survival, fear, and hunger. Such people cannot be reasoned with and they will find food one way or another, even if they have to resort to kill each other to eat their victims.

As much as the current situation sucks (it sucks just a little less then US occupation and all the oil going to America with America owning everything) they need to deal with their own problems without us stepping in trying to liberate them.

Here’s my problem with all this. ALL OF IT could have had the brakes put on this S~~~storm a LONG time ago. But let’s face it. The PEOPLE ASKED FOR IT. And they got what they wanted. There was Red FLAGS everywhere. But as long as everyone was drinking the koolaid of free s~~~, everyone was happy.

Its not hard to run a country into the ground. But it’s even harder to tell people the truth. If you do, you never get votes. People are just to stupid to deal with the fact that Politicians are NOT people you want running your economy. And DITTO for WOMEN in power.

But they NEVER learn. They just keep going on and this is what they get.

If a nation was serious about running their country they would have experts in these positions and that is NOT HARD TO DO. But when you vote with your feelings, and you chose to believe the hype that the people who do the best job are not particularly squeaky clean people, or people who have any Charisma to lead people, you are going to keep getting the same crap over and over.

Folks, their MONEY is USELESS. How the hell can a nation, AN ENTIRE COUNTRY become so f~~~ed up? Well… All you have to do is make ONE THING REALLY CHEAP. LIke gas. Vodka, etc. And then that just keeps the people at bay since truly, they will Protest for S~~~ that does not matter all day long, but not do a DAMN thing about Bad Ideas as long as it seems to benefit the masses.

Can you imagine CHINA or JAPAN being run into the ground? How did this happen to Venezuela? Man, I would LOVE to see a documentary on ALL of the mistakes that were made that brought the place to its knees. But whatever. The got what they asked for.

I’d like to think they will wake up but I have noticed that people’s preferred cure for communism/socialism is even more communism/socialism. They will believe that someone can take the same idea and do it better.
