Will a judge say women's sports suck?

Yeah I know, the women’s soccer team again. But this is fairly interesting. They filed a lawsuit under Title 9 because they aren’t payed the same as the men’s team. Basically Title 9 says that women can’t be paid less than men FOR DOING THE SAME WORK. Which would imply that women are just as good as men at sports. Otherwise it’s not THE SAME WORK.

I would love to be the judge. Because, really, there’s only one way to settle it. Make them play each other. Let’s see how they do, head to head, doing THE SAME WORK.

I for one will be very interested in how the judge decides this case. It could potentially have far-reaching unintended consequences.

That is an interesting one. Experience makes me expect the worst (this world is so biased) but you never know, we might get a glimpse of sanity.

I am sure many soccer players would like to be payed as well as Ronaldo. Is there a difference? Are they not doing the same job?

I’d be all for women playing professional sports to be paid MORE than men if their leagues were pulling in more viewers, selling more tickets, and selling more merchandise. If they are pulling in less money, they should be compensated accordingly.

If it was the same work they would be getting the same ticket sales. Because when the men do their work, they put asses in the seats and make large profits. That proves men are doing way more work than the women.

The wnba is notself supporting, for example. they exist because the nba gives them money to operate.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Well, we can’t have women’s teams compete against men’s teams, because men would annihilate them.

A judge would be more likely to say: “We must have a quota of women on the men’s teams, like we do in workplaces and boardrooms across the land.”

Now all teams will have the same disadvantage.

And every player is doing “the same work”.

Look at it this way. If they win then the WNBA will demand to be paid the same as the men. And the league will fold. It already runs at a loss and the NBA subsidizes it. The NWLS will demand to be paid the same as the MLS players. And the league will fold.

If they lose, then what is to stop a group of men cops from suing to earn more than the women who got on the police force by passing an easier test? Same for firefighters and military. If the court admits that the women’s league is inferior to the men’s league, then aren’t women cops inferior to men cops when the men past a harder test?

I’m very interested in this case because it just may open Pandora’s Box. And like most chicks, once you open her box it never shuts.
