If your military pension is the problem and you’re paying exorbitant child support just to maintain her silence, you might want to check into how much being done and away from her would really cost you.

The really bad way to go is to get into a good job with good pay while you are still married and have her entitled to some of that boom.

If you’re done with her, cut the ties and move on. I know other guys that have gone on in your situation and it almost always costs more to wait.

The longer you wait the more she can reap in the divorce settlement. Majority of the states can base the alimony just off how many years you were married. This should have been handled 5 years ago and you would be getting on with your life.

How can your girlfriend be “pretty good”? Unless you’re telling me she’s not aware of your wife and whatnot. If she is aware, then that should tell you enough of her character to know she’s not “pretty good”.

Either way, the fact that she is living with you, where I do even begin.

If I were you, I would less worry about your wife, and more about this girlfriend of yours.
