I was at two public events yesterday, where thousands of people from my rustbelt metro area of 4 million congregated. Rather, waddled.

There were a few young girls who looked normal/doable, but the overwhelming majority of people were very fat or obese. So fat and obese, in fact, that I can’t not marvel at them all. I’m 54 years-old, and so I lived through the Great Weight Transformation here in America, and I doubt I’ll ever not be shocked at the size of the general public.

I’m keenly aware of what women look like at my age, + or – five years. I did see one shockingly beautiful woman of about fifty. She had long, curly, reddish-brown hair, short, petite, dressed well, and had very toned, sexy arms, probably because of yoga rather than lifting or Crossfit. Not a tat in sight. Her well-kept looks belied an easy lifestyle that is undoubtedly paid for by a man. More to the point, she is the first woman my age I’ve seen in several years that actually made me think, “Oh yeah, I’d totally f~~~ her.” The first one in years.

The thing here is that while you will see many people in slightly above 30 BMI which is already obese, you just wont run into +35 BMI if you dont live in major city. And for sure you will not run into obese people in good companies.

I am really sometimes baffled when on liveleak, trying to figure out if someone is pranking liveleak. This, you will not see here anywhere. Even what i consider land whale is just around less than 35 BMI.

Yeah I the same age – so we both remember the 70’s when most people were slim and trim.
