    Hi broz.

    I’d like to begin this thread by saying something obvious. Women are invading everything that used to be all-male. The scientific community is a good example of this. Scientists are mostly male … but now women are invading the scientific community. The scientific community won’t be a bro zone for much longer.

    I predict that, as the scientific community caves into feminist demands, the paleontology community will be the last manly segment of the scientific community. In fact, the paleontology community might end up being the last manly part of the West. In the end, nature will ultimately be the only manly thing left … but the paleontology community might end up being the last manly part of civilization.

    Why The Paleontology Community Will Resist Feminism For a Long Time

    – Most women who want to be in science want to be physicists. This is because physicists make a ton of money and have great job opportunities. Paleontology is mostly a hobby because it offers almost no job opportunities. This means that the sexism in paleontology will go unnoticed for a long time.

    – Paleontology is largely about stuff that is loved by boys and men. Most people who love dinosaurs are men. Most people who love cavemen and mammoths are men. Most people who love giant bugs are men. There are some women in paleontology but most women don’t care about those things.

    – A paleontologist must embrace and accept the harsh aspects of the natural world. All wild animals (even “cute” animals) are survivors who frequently brush with death. Extinction is just a part of nature. 99.99% of animals that have existed are extinct. Nature is a brutal place where slight physical abnormalities can mean the difference between life and death. Paleontology is not for the feminine-minded.

    – You generally need to go out into the natural world in order to find fossils. Women are at a disadvantage when they are not in civilization.

    – Paleontology reminds us that humans have existed since 200,000 BC. Civilization has only existed for 11,000 years. The technology which has made feminism possible is even more recent.

    – All animals become scarier when you look at their bones.

    I suspect that the MGTOW of the future will look back on paleontology as “the last manly science”.

    i can’t argue that.
    i think you’re right .
    when presented with actual history,
    the feminist camp shuts down..
    .
    ” you mean, women were taken care of by MEN ” ?
    ” we gathered roots and berries while the MEN risked their LIVES for us ” ?
    Nah…
    don’t see many women wanting a real look back into the history of our human race ..

    I forgot to mention one thing: Paleontology contains some inconvenient truths for the vegan community.

    The earliest hominids were herbivorous for the most part. They sometimes scavenged meat from corpses but they could not hunt. Hominids began evolving humanlike intelligence after they learned how to hunt and increased their meat intake.

    Hominid intelligence experienced another leap forward after the invention of fire made cooking possible.

    I’ve been meaning ax you, Uintatherium, is you or is you not that of which you speak, a Paleoentologist?

    Me, I’m a Paleoanthropologist/Anthro fan boy. Always have been.

    I’m not officially a paleontologist.

    I’m a paleontology nerd but I’m not officially in the field yet.

    If you’ve not read them already, I highly recommend Michael Novacek’s “Dinosaurs of the Flaming Cliffs” and Peter Ward’s “Gorgon”, two books I enjoyed so much that I’m ready to read them again.

    Do you have an Paleoentology books to recommend?

    How to Build a Dinosaur by Jack Horner is pretty good.

    I mostly use the internet.

    I have yet to meet a female automobile mechanic, electrician, or air-conditioning technician. However, I have met one female master plumber.

    I think a man is going to be OK if he’s inclined to go into any STEM profession — although I’d choose carefully — a qualified mechanic at a big dealership makes more than most white collar workers, and he didn’t rack up a pile of student loans getting there.

    Back in my college days (when dinosaurs roamed the earth), majors with heavy math requirements were very unpopular with the women. The girls went into the soft sciences or something with “studies” in the title. Oh, and art and dance of course.

    I suppose that is still true. I saw a chart of male vs. female ratios in various professions, and STEM jobs were predominantly male.

    I had a career at Giant Corp in a division that employed mostly engineers and physicists. There were a few women, yes, but not many. The women were concentrated in administration, human resources (formerly known as personnel), and as executive assistants (the PC title for secretary). We had to deal with them, but they weren’t constantly underfoot.

    Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

    Yes the trades,heavy,dirty,dangerous ones like steel work,foundation forming,pipe fitting on rigs will always be a man’s work,as will any occupation that removes you out of civilization and into the unknown for the most part.

    Lifes a bitch,but you don't have to marry one!

    I am not so sure about this actually. As a physics students, I do observe quite few women in the field. Most of the women do get their physics degrees go into biophysics. Yeah, there is a surge of idiotic feminism in my natural science faculties mostly fault of brainwashed millenials, but honestly, i don’t think most people, even most women in physics are falling for it.
    Now, Natural Sciences depend heavily on Critical Rationalism , in other words, if the theory’s hypothesis don’t pass experimental corroboration, such theory has to be either reformed or discarded. I believe most physicists must be capable of getting to the conclusion ( yes, even women in the field ) that feminist theory does not and never will corroborate with reality. Those who fail to do that will have a hard time getting anything published.
    I believe a good example of this is Lady Top Hat ( those of you folowing Top Hats and Champagne Youtube channel already know what i am talking about ). This woman has been actively prove Johnita Scamkeesian false by actively showing how divorced from reality her narrative is by empirically demostrating how many games exits that totally contradict Scamkeesian insidious deranged theories.
    Now yeah, of course , as in any field, you do have brainwashed feminists and mangina who do incredible mental gymnastics to reconcille the irreconcible postmodern feminits bulls~~~ and scientific critical rationalism. Most serious scientists will only watch, pity and laugh at these sorry excuses of “scientists”.

    "We didn't start the fire. It was always burning. Since the world's been turning" "A world that vilifies men only breeds a generation of men that feel no empathy towards women" “In a woman’s mind , there is really no such thing as a ‘we’. In her eyes, earth allways revolves around her, not the other way around. So thinking that your needs , aspirations or desires are valid enough to be persued, or even that you are entitled achive such goals, is like asking your boss for a pay rise in your very first day at the job.”

    I also think that prehistoric creatures tend to have very manly names. Paleontologists are good at creating badass names with badass meanings.

    Tyrannosaurus Rex = Tyrant Lizard King
    Velociraptor Mongoliensis = Swift Theif From Mongolia
    Carnotaurus = Meat-Eating Bull
    Thylacosmilus = Pouch Sabre
    Thylacoleo Carnifex = Pouch Lion Executioner
    Ambulocetus = Walking Whale
    Sarcosuchus = Flesh Crocodile
    Deinonychus = Terrible Claw
    Smok = Dragon (in Polish)
    Sordes Pilosus = Hairy Filth
