“Old habits die hard”, they say. But do they really? Sure, when you’re accustomed to habits it can be difficult to stop. Smokers for example don’t need to quit the nicotine for example. They just need to quit the habit of actually lighting up a cigarette, which is the hard part. Because it comes from usually using a task’s accomplishment to initiate the act of lighting a cigarette. Same is true for reprogramming your brain. Which can be done. Your brain is like a computer. Storing software. That software comes in the form of what?
That software comes in the form of beliefs, behaviors, morals, and ideology. Those things affect us every day. From the way we think, to the way we act. The way we see the world, or at least, the way we believe the world SHOULD be, or is SUPPOSED to be. There are two types of people out there in the world. The “human doings”, and the “human beings”. The “human doings” are the ones asleep at the wheel. Going through the motions every day of their life. Not taking the time to question.
Unfortunately for these people, they’re so caught up in the reality of the world they live that they seldom if at all have a chance to day dream, or even for that matter be introspective. Because these “human doings” are so caught up in “mom has cancer”, or “my son just flunked out of college” or “I lost my job, will I be able to pay my rent?”.. That these people don’t take the time, and understandably so – take the time to sit and analyze “who am I? And where do I fit in amongst the 8 billion people on this planet? What is my purpose?”
These people don’t get to take the time to be AWARE of self destructive behavior. What is self destructive behavior? Well… It’s any belief, behavior, morals, or ideology that isn’t serving you in a productive way. If you’ve maintained the world works a certain way, and that thinking hasn’t worked for you but you maintain it’s true, that’s destructive behavior. Because it’s not SERVING YOU. It’s not moving you forward. It’s not allowing you to make PROGRESS.
So the key in being a “human BEING”, is BEING consciously aware. Tuned into the world, tuned into the energy. Doing the work on YOU. Sweeping YOUR side of the street. Self inventory. Just as a program can be uninstalled, and new program installed in it’s place on a computer, your beliefs, behavior, morals, and ideology can also be replaced. It may take time. It may not. Every individual is different. Your mind is not something that can’t be fixed. It can. But it takes understanding of your actions and beliefs to rectify the changes. Swallowing the red pill is proof of this. Why? Because swallowing the red pill forces you to change behaviors and beliefs.
People who are of high conscience can utilize what’s called “observing ego”. Which is the ability to step outside yourself IN REAL TIME, in any environment and see yourself making decisions before you make them, thus allowing you to take the correct action in that moment with clarity. People who do not utilize “observing ego” fall into the traps living in the moment. Usually making irrational decisions. Those irrational decisions are usually self destructive.
Presented with a potential argument. Did you see it in real time? Did you see where it was headed and carefully deflect the argument thus preventing yourself saying or doing the wrong thing in the moment? Or were you too caught up, only to get pulled into the vortex of the argument to avoid the trap; ultimately saying or doing something in the moment that regressed you backwards?
As MGTOW, we all have the unique position of traveling our own road in life. Defining our existence as we see fit. But the ability to understand and recognize, then promptly fix negative aspects of your thinking, and behavior patterns will help you truly set yourself free and lead you on a path of inner happiness. Make progress with yourself. Always be alert. Always be willing to analyze yourself honestly and examine when behavior is working against you destructively.
Be willing to examine where perceptions of reality that you had, failed you, and work to implement perceptions that are in line with you making positive progress in your life. No person can make these changes without being self aware, and brutally honest. Much of that comes with introspection. So take a moment. Even if it’s for 5-10 minutes a day, and reflect on yourself. Reflect on your progress. Are you where you want to be in life? Why not? What is it about the way you think or act that’s holding you back? MGTOW should be about growth. Because in going your own way do you truly get to learn about yourself. With learning, and growth comes greater understanding.

My smoking habit comes to mind here. Totally destructive and not productive.

Eckhart Tolle has written a few books on this subject. The best ones in my mind are “The Power Of Now”, and “A New Earth”
Anyway communication, real open communication, is not wanted or even required in a relationship. Women cannot handle fully open and honest communication, plus most perceive it as a weakness on the part of a man. All that is required is catering to her whims, and even then nothing is certain. There is no way to be sure of having a successful relationshit with a woman. MGTaoist
