Hi guys! Happy new year!
I’d like to start this year with a video I found.Summary: The creators of this video think that our calendar should be changed. We should move year zero back 10,000 years in order to make the calendar more “culturally inclusive”.
Do you know what? I think that this is a great idea. Being culturally inclusive is … sorta okay. Whatever. That’s not why I love this new calendar.
If we move year zero back 10,000 years, people will think about their ancient and prehistoric ancestors more. That’s exactly what men need. Men all around the world need to think about their ancient and prehistoric ancestors. This will give men everywhere a masculinity boost.
Now I want to talk about everyone’s least favorite mangina: David Futrelle. The title of his blog is “We Hunted the Mammoth”. He’s apparently trying to insult MGTOW by comparing us to cavemen.
I’ve got news for Fatrelle. Mocking MGTOW by saying “We hunted the mammoth.” is like insulting East Asians by saying “We invented Nintendo.” It’s like insulting black people by saying “We kicked the Frenchies out of Haiti.” It’s like insulting white people by saying “We played classical music in old Europe.” How am I supposed to be offended by a comment that isn’t even insulting? We hunted the mammoth? Damn right we f~~~ing did! We survived in the wilderness with wild animals and fought tooth and nail for survival every day! We fought alongside our canine companions … who still mostly looked like wolves at the time. Meanwhile, cavewomen sat on their asses and pumped out kids.
How dare you bring that up Mr. Fatrelle? How dare you remind me that my ancestors were badass motherf~~~ers? I am soooo triggered!
So … yeah. Let’s embrace this new Kurzgesagt calendar. Men around the world need to know that we were badass for over 10,000 years before feminism f~~~ed everything up.
MGTOW: because you can (and should) say anything about a woman as long as she isn't within earshot
If we ever do adopt a new calendar, can we please make it lunar and reserve the last two weeks of the year for partying? thank you very much.
I saw the Kurzgesagt Calendar video a while ago and I can see the merit as it wouldn’t be as easy to dismiss history from say the year 9000 KC as it was when it was called 1000 BC.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 12017 KC
Marriage: About as appealing as wood-chipper diving.
Very interesting idea, but starting at 1AD (or CE) doesn’t discount what came before. Still worth consideration.
Also, having a ‘human era’ will probably p~~~ off many of the progressives who would otherwise back this – there is a strong strain of flat-out misanthropy among many of them. They see people as the problem for the earth, not something to be celebrated. (As twisted as that is).
