I woke up at 10, drove the car to the car wash, spent a couple hours cleaning the car, waiting for the weather to clear, talked to some guys getting their old cars ready for a car show, and the attendant gave me coupons for a free lunch. The owner of the carwash also owns restaurants and other businesses. Sweet…car is clean, and I have free lunch, and got to see some awesome old hoopties.

Then I drove to the gym, worked out, swam for a while, and made a couple contacts and promises to review resumes next week. Sweet!

Drove the fun clean car out to a lake that a friend recommended I check out. Convertible driving bliss, no traffic, sunny day, twisty roads – rare for the great plains, amazingly beautiful lake, awesome driving road… I was laughing my ass off it was so much fun a real roller coaster.

Went home took a nap, then studied for a network admin certification test for a while.

That is why I am MGTOW. No woman at any point in my day held up her hand and said No. Damm, if I was chained to a woman, she would kick my ass out of bed at 7 to make her breakfast, then at the car wash, she would critique my work, then take my free food coupon. Going to the lake I have never been to, she would bitch about its windy in the car with the top down, the sun is in my eyes, are we there yet? its too far, Im hungry, I need a bathroom, Im thirsty. I’m bored, theres no cell signal out here. You study too much come watch the bachelor with me, I want to go out for dinner, no im not in the mood tonight I have a headache

I remember before I started dating my second wife. I was working at a company that built control panels. There were a lot of women in my crew. It was the early 80’s. I mentioned something about a big ticket item I was purchasing. One of the women said, “…and what’s your wife going to say?” Well, they couldn’t believe that I wasn’t married. I didn’t care and the women just couldn’t get over that. I thought it was ridiculous at the time, but it was commonplace in every setting I found myself in. Nowadays, no one says a word. I can second that. Small things in life in the everydays are a lot more comfortable.

I come back home when I want, I buy or not buy what I want. I make huge mess in the kitchen if I want. Today I repaired my bike. Kitchen table full of tools, because that is the only table I have. (and minimalism is possible). If I need to clean some very dirty parts, I just put a dedicated small pot of grease solvent and soap water on the stove. Why I’m MGTOW.

Because I think that’s more or less the future of most men, that’s, specifically, the reason why I read and post here.
There’s still a long long way, I see two steps back for every three steps forward, it’s like most men here doesn’t realize the full potential of this thing.

I also find very funny all the shame that other people throw against MGTOW: the people throwing shame are actually clueless, totally blind, about what’s happening around them.
They don’t see LAWS, ACTUAL LAWS (ongoing affirmative consent in American campuses – probably going to become law of the land in the near future, new Swedish Law about rape – same as the latter, already law-of-the-land, Convention of Istanbul in Europe, Duluth model in USA), they don’t see #metoo: they don’t get it and they don’t see a general pattern.
By ignoring all the above, they prove that MGTOW have a very good point: if MGTOW would be wrong, then the above things would have NEVER passed, or they would have quickly repealed. Quite the opposite: things keep moving in the same direction.

More personal reasons for embracing MGTOW lifestyle?
Let’s see.

I already have kids, I don’t want other kids. Even less I want take care of kids of other men: it’s not my thing, it’s absurd, and my own kids would freak out (with good reasons).
That alone, basically, meaning that I don’t want all women with kids and all women who wish to have kids.

I enjoy having time to spend alone: I have a full time work, I spend time with my kids, I’m involved in local politics, it’s even too much.
That excludes from my wishes all women who would like a serious and intense relationship, that kind of relationship where you spend most (if not all) your free time with the partner.

I prefer a fleshlight to vaginal intercourse using a condom: it feels better.
That excludes most casual sex / one-night-stands: if it happen, why not? But I’m not going to invest time/efforts in such things,

Still sex-related: furthermore, realistically, the amount of orgasms I like to have can’t be provided by the average woman, and not even by the above-the-average woman, I should find a woman with a libido very different and much higher from most women – chances are little, it would take a lot of time to find such rare case (really a lot of time: because you can’t really know until you actually initiate to have, sistematically sex with a woman!), plus add to the mix all the further considerations here.
It’s also true that with a woman you can do even better things than vaginal intercourse using a condom, but 99% of the other sexual activities presupposes a long-term relationship or something similar.

Long-term relationships involve some LEGAL rights and duties and, much worse, they could and they WILL involve more and more legal duties in the future: such legal changes are retroactive, factually.
People against MGTOW could scream that I’m paranoid, but I know the actual law.
My country, two years ago, passed ALIMONIES DUE WHEN A COHABITATION ENDS.
Eight months ago the supreme court established that a cohabitation is defined by “mutual support” and not by “living under the same roof”.
I see a pattern.
Even if things are NOWADAYS still quite manageable there’s such worrying thing of the pattern.

Bottom note:
What I dislike about MGTOW.
People blaming women for having too much sex and the likes.
It’s really sad, and it’s disturbing to me.

Yup May7, I had the same thing. I busted my ass on my days off to set up a s~~~ ton of Christmas decorations.

She leaves Day after Christmas to visit her family for 2 weeks. Leaves me with a honey-do list to complete while she’s gone. Nevermind I’m working all but 4 days that she’s gone. I got most of it done. She returns and starts cursing at me for not completing everything on the list. You just can’t win.

A co-worker recently told me, "If you want to see who someone really is, divorce them." I have found out how true this is. When your wife drops the façade of being the caring partner, you will witness all of the greed, hate, and spite that she has masked. It is truly breathtaking!
