    Ok.
I should have seen it in your posts. You make much more sense now.
I found out in 2014 despite being 42 at the time of diagnosis. When I found out a great deal of my life experiences, how I have interacted with others etc made much more sense.

What are the main problem the Aspergers cause for you?

Thanks for this Old Sage. I appreciate you giving him a break.
I can see where he is coming from more clearly now.

    Aspergers can be a bastard.

Social skills, I have difficulty picking up on social cues, though i am better at picking up and paying attention to social cues now, then when I was younger.

Doing this in print, makes it very diffelcult also.
Keep working at it, and you will get better at it.

    I like your directness.

I understand where you are coming from with that.
Social cues have always been hard for me to read.
They can be too subtle for me. I don’t notice them.

I can read and understand people if I actually focus but the casual intuitive reading I am not good at.

A background in Psychology has helped loads though.

Social cues have always been hard for me to read.

This coming from the guy who got on here, and gave us a Gentlmens ass whooping, for our bad manners.

    Doc,
Yet set the bar for social cues, and how to conduct your self like a Gentlmen.

In face to face social interactions I’m usually the quieter one who listens. Body language is the hard one for me.

On the forum the body language is stripped away so it’s easier to read situations etc.
The problem with Aspergers is the picking up of the social cues that reflect what some9ne might be think8ng. But how people think is fairly straightforward t9 understand.

Sorry for the numbers in my writing. F~~~ing iPad.

I guess my polite ways towards other members is down to that line
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I treat people in the way I would like to be treated.
I don’t expect it off people though. I guess I accept that being human we need to be able to relax a little and surround ourselves with those who we respect and who respect us.

I truly beleive that most of the time we are respectful of each other here. Not always but that’s no bad thing.

Ah nothing wrong with that Old Sage.
A healthy scrap and a hand shake to finish helps sometimes.
