Why has "not caring about women" never made them attracted to me?

I have always heard that “Once you stop caring about women, they will be all over you!”. Well, a few years ago after a very bad experience with a woman that ended up with me entangled with the police and court, I stopped caring about women and pretty much quit on them for good.

Do you know what changed for me? Absolutely nothing. Which is fine. I didn’t stop caring about women so that they’d become attracted to me. I did it because I actually STOPPED CARING ABOUT THEM. But it never lead them to start “coming after me” or “sensing I didn’t care and then they started to become so attracted to me”.

I am still very cordial with everyone, women included, and try to be very friendly. I just never for a second think about asking them out. Aren’t women supposed to somehow “sense” this, and magically be attracted to me? I am a also decent looking guy, if that means anything.

It’s not really important but it’s just something I’ve been wondering about. Sometimes I read on here about how after going MGTOW, guys are “swimming in pussy” and get offers left and right. For me, not a damn thing changed LOL! Maybe it’s because I’m still “too friendly” even though I don’t care? I don’t know. Any thoughts?

they’re only as interested as their options. if they already have the options, and you don’t have the above, then why would they chase you.

Anyway, a lot of this s~~~ doesn’t mean much these days. they got tinder, facebook, twitter, and they get their “fix” from that. If it’s not you, it’ll be a hundred other guys out there they can date. Don’t you see how they stuff their face every hour of the day into their phone.

I have no desire to compete with bunch of low lives on the net (this company excluded of course) to get some low class, high mileage tail.

Unless you are 8+/10, in other words, the top 20%, that you’re so attractive to the point where women would risk rejection and ridicule to get a crack at you, then no, NGAF won’t magically make women approach you. I can count the times I was approached on one hand.

I remember having a conversation with the ex, who told me how she thought I was special the first moment she talked to me and really liked me, yet even she admitted had I not been the first person to declare feelings, she wouldn’t have done anything ever. Women are the biggest cowards in the world.

In a realistic, practical sense, NGAF for most people, would just ensure that they pass most of the s~~~ tests, ie not falling into the friendzone, not giving her the shoulder to lean on when she wants to whine about her asshole BF, not cuddling with her. Passing s~~~ tests will add points to your overall attractiveness. Still, it’s very likely for 9/10 cases, you’ll have to be the one to initiate, to get anything going.

The bottom line for me is that it’s not even close to worth the cost in terms of time, expense and overall hassle to get/keep a piece of @ss. Enjoy where you’re at, and if you don’t like it, you can fix it! I’m very content just enjoying the fruits of my efforts without concern about unnecessarily complicating my life.

Two thoughts:

Women don’t approach men like men approach women. And they’re really bad at it. Unless you know what to look for you can completely miss it. And you’re generally better off missing it.

Being “disinterested” in women is almost the same as being interested in them. A lot of men confuse being antipathetic or apathetic about women with not giving any f~~~s, and they’re not at all the same thing.

Sorry, but why, as a MGTOW, would you care about getting women to chase you? I get you’re going your OWN way, and being a MGTOW doesn’t mean you have to go monk but you wanting women to chase you seems to kinda defeat the whole purpose, doesn’t it? Just seems kinda weird to me, is all.
