Who is the best leader you personally know and why? What do they do to make you nominate them?

Only people you actually know please.

If I go based to on here, from my conversations, his patience and his knowledge, I would say OldBill or PistolPete.

If in the rest of my life, I would say a general I once served. The guy got things done. Best of the best.

Thanks for the thought but in the military I was just a buck private and that remains my perspective. I see the world from the lowest rung….but also through a gun sight.

My old firefighting boss. He was tough on us when he needed to be, not tough when he didn’t need to be, made sure that even the worst work was fun, and had your back. I remember coming home from a fire once where the fire boss dicked me around a little, and when I got back to our office he was opening my door as I was shutting off the truck. The first words out of his mouth were “I want to know everything that f~~~ing prick said to you. I’m going to kick his ass!” It’s always nice working for someone that you know has your back.

OK GregBo aside it would have to be my old HR boss—Vietnam vet ex-special forces. An excellent manager and leader–one of the smartest guys I’ve ever know and had more ethics and integrity in his pinky finger than most people have in their whole body.

Who is the best leader I know? I am, because I follow no man but myself.

‘No Leaders Please’ said Charles Bukowski, meaning invent yourself, and reinvent yourself.

That’s among mortals. But I’m with @RedPillBible on Christ.
