Can someone tell me how to embed a youtube video here?  The code from youtube produces jibberish when I use it, so I default to a link, but I’d prefer it to look like what RoyDal has above.

Thanks RoyDal.  I’ve done that twice and it hasn’t worked.  Likely there is a minimum post count a poster must have before it shows – have seen systems like that.  Have noticed that vids seem to appear for those with at least 100 posts or so.

I have not noticed it being a function of the number of posts. This is the URL for the Klingon beer blast, except I have inserted ” — ” in it so it won’t call a website: https://www. — youtube.com/watch?v=2FjzFHyjhVI

Note there are differences between it and yours from the top of this thread.

I found it by starting your video and then going to the YouTube symbol on the lower right of its taskbar.
If you hover over that, you should see “watch on YouTube” appear.
Click it, and you should go to the original YouTube Klingon beer blast video.
You are now at the URL you need to use for forum friendly videos.

Honestly though if you mean nerdy by deeper lore, Star Trek – Star Wars has a GREAT EU but it’s all trashed now.
Star Trek has an interesting and expansive universe but it is gommunism in space and thus trash worthy as well.

All in all, I am the nerdier and win the thread
