I accidentally got out of paying the Subscription here over a year ago! Ive been posting for free, for over a year.
I would gladly pay the back-owed money but there is no admin here…

The “chip malfunctioned” on my old card, it wouldnt slide. I needed a New Card issued. Once the new card was assigned to my account, all payments to MGTOW stopped by default.

Anyone claiming they cant get out of the subscription is a moron.

Where does the money go? It goes into Keymaster’s bank account. Then he pays every year to keep the domain and site LIVE.
He is likely LOSING money, because the subs probably create less than $1000 a year… But KM is worth a lot of money and isnt concerned with the chump change it takes to keep this site up… The paywall subscription was meant to keep Tuna out.

He probably got about 80 people subbed in, paying $5 a month. $400 a month. When SHTF 18 months ago, Id say about half those people either demanded he cancel their account or they simply stopped payment. So there goes $200 a month…

Since then, Id reckon at least 10 more have stopped payment or canceled their cards somehow…

There are probably less than 20 people paying $5-$10 a month. That cash goes into KMs bank account which means he is still alive. If he was dead, the account would be closed.

I get that it is adrift without a captain at helm. But even still, it’s a nice little corner of the MGTOW universe.

Thanks Captain Obvious. I think that an interesting thing happened when our captain left. There was a big mutiny but after the mutineers left, the rest of us just got on. I think it is actually a testament to cooperation among men. We make allowances and we don’t bitch. I think the opposite would have happened on a female site and factions would have torn hell out of each other. Instead now it makes very little difference who you are and what your view point is. You are accepted and heard and people don’t p~~~ on each other just because they are trying to be big.

If some femtard academics did buy the site as per the more paranoid theories, they are not going to be able to say we went out in a cat fight or that our only uniting feature was a desire to vent hatred.

The former Daily Crew was largely comprised of Big Dick Alphas with Superiority Complex and an Attitude problem. Theyd play nice up to a point, then fleece you with unnecessary insults. You can see, that 4 years ago, I was even more stupid than Iam now! LOL. And Sidecar was there, still trying to educate me because Im stupid. But he has tolerance (thanks man). Keymaster finally got so p~~~ed with me, he gave me the boot LOL

I didn’t see it that way. I saw small men compensating. It was the only fly in the ointment of this place. This was one place they could talk big and it was their place where they set the rules and you had to pass their hazing to get in (which I didn’t mind because a hazing is just an initiation and then you are in) but they were only acting Alpha when most were not actually even betas. They didn’t know how leaders or patriarchs behave. They just handed out the bullying they had received in the toilets at school from higher status boys to others without realising the potential they had to lead a group to do something. Do you see politicians or generals treating their men that way? Does the captain of the football team get you promoted out of the league by p~~~ing on all the new players and chasing most of them away?

KM’s one big mistake was thinking they were his dogs and they would do his policing. He chose the mob to lead and then the mob turned.

There are certain people who used to Subscribe here. For example, that guy Travis3000 or whatever. Perfect example of dimwitted NRA hooligan asshole with a small brain and a big dick attitude who sees a chew toy and rips it to pieces. He chases his own tail and knocks over everything in a room.

What can a website owner do? In Keymasters position. How was he to deal with Moderation? How was he to deal with intense scrutiny of his power? A MOB of people who were largely harmless men who just wanted to post but the 10% who were like Travis made the place undesirable. So Keymaster had two choices, either censor/moderate and be seen as a Gestopo SS dictator, or to step back away from all this and let the unmuzzled men have their say. Keymaster chose indifference and to remove himself from the situation of being judged unfairly. And when that MOB’s demands were not met, they jumped ship…

Many smarter men here could see the unfair Catch 22 they put KM in and we stayed. It didnt matter because he was being sued anyway in my opinion. I wonder if there are buried threads talking about a lawsuit. Its impossible to govern this site and appease everyone, especially while engaging in it yourself. To run this place justly, you have to be Invisible.

I thought that it was unthinkable, that people like mgTower and PistolPete would leave, and many others who like them so much that they too betrayed this site. They seemed very happy one day, and hacked the next. Almost as if all those accounts were hacked by feminists… But they werent, they just got fed up with KM not wanting to LEAD this place. But how could he? We all know, its a gigantic waste of time sitting here typing all day. KM had better sh!t to do than sit here for another few years playing around. And he wasnt about to give power to one person over another… so they all left, including KM…

The site is still here out of Keymasters ambivalence and love for what this once stood for.

To be honest i just became busy with irl, friends. As for the subscription fee. I still pay for it as a thank you until my account for my card dies or the site dies.

Not a sketchy site. Unfortunately it is not what it once was. Nevertheless it survives, one of many MGTOW beacons.
I can rarely get on these days due to time constraints but I enjoy popping in to blow off some steam and have a laugh at some of the threads.

Let’s face it, MGTOW.com is a great domain name. Just having it exist is great. A small fvck you left in the ether of this gynocentric world.

Sometimes all I need is the reassurance that I am not the only one who needs to scream FVCK OFF at a society that doesn’t quite seem to fit me. I word it that way on purpose. I no longer feel it is my job to fit in the world. They can follow me for a while.

This site saved me from getting married and divorce raped a third time. I was seriously blue-pilled thinking I just had to find the right pumpkin.

After two divorces, I had a live-in girlfriend who was eager to marry. But I had seen enough from women to hesitate. I found this site and the light bulb went on. I vowed to not marry again.
