We have all had experiences where we dealt with a situation at work where we had thoughts of quitting. Sometimes the feelings go away and sometimes they don’t.
So what pushed you over the edge and made you quit? A backstabbing boss who passed you over for a promotion? A co worker who annoys the hell out of you?
Curious as to what other people consider their limit at work.
Backstabbing boss? Yes.
Annoying coworker(s)? Yes.
Office located downwind of an petroleum refinery — yes again.
Massive layoff on the horizon and wanting to jump to next job before getting the axe — another yes.
Just plain tired of the life of a corporate drone — final yes. Game over.
Edit: When I was a second year college student working on my STEM degree, my roommate discovered that an automotive mechanic at a local Chevy dealership made more than a degreed engineer or scientist. Both of us contemplated bailing on college and pursuing this more lucrative career.
I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I had chosen that fork in my path. It is quite possible I would still be working as a dealership mechanic and living the life I am living today, both.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
So what pushed you over the edge and made you quit?
saved up enough money, and don’t want to be a slave anymore.
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.
