When white knighting for women started to decline?

In a fight he, most likely, gets beaten. If he’s victorious, problems are not over for him, though. When police arrives, the thugs he just beaten usually claim he attacked them first. So, he gets taken by police, and if he seriously hurt some thug having some connections he quite realistically might be facing some prison sentence. Rare, but happens, since likely no witnesses in his favor (women got away, remember?).

So, trying to save a damsel in distress, one won’t even get distressed damsel. That one will get only problems with chance of ship(t)load of problems.

The men who got through the experience sharply lose interest in white knighting afterwards and only save men.

And when some woman in police station, wiping her face with tears and snot, says “there was someone else, but he just walked away and didn’t help me”, that policemen looks at her and thinks “yeah, right. cause you’re totally worth helping”.

My friend told me most men past 30-40s are aware of this, and not enthusiastic in helping women. Well, I knew it just because he told me, I’ve never experienced that.

Anyone knows if this statistic (vast majority of women just running away) with subsequent problems described anywhere in literature? Because this is something I think every young man must be aware of.

Cops do not have any obligation to save anyone from harm or death. They have sovereign immunity as well. I do not.

I am not a cop. I am not a super hero. I am not a womans self defense tool. I am going to face enough bulls~~~ just using self defense to keep myself alive, if I have to.

I didnt sign up to be everyone elses savior only to be thrown under the bus doing the dirty work they expected others to do for them.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Morlock, I witnessed the same scenario in King’s Cross (Sydney) about 10 years ago; a man trying to get a woman into a taxi. The woman looked like just as much trouble as the man (she looked like a hooker and he was definitely a crim) so there was NO way intervening would have been wise, but it was a violent confrontation in the street and somebody was going to get hurt. I went into a nearby hotel and got the receptionist to call the cops (without mentioning my name), but didn’t hang around waiting for them to arrive as there were plenty of eyewitnesses.

I think it started in 2008 as social media like Facebook was starting to take off. Narcissism is what is reducing White Knighting. I joined Facebook a little after Myspace began its collapse. That is what a lot of people my age were doing at that point. Me wanting to be relevant ended up joining. It wasn’t until 2008 that I started using it on a frequent basis. Both genders were narcissistic but the females were and still are today a different ball game.
