My guess is that they met at the local watering hole, and started out as drinking buddies. They paired up because they could tolerate, understand, and support each other’s alcoholism. It sure as hell wasn’t her looks that attracted him to her, and I’m guessing neither one was wealthy. You do see these “odd couples” from time to time.

The wall and alcohol plus who knows what else has bitch slapped her hard. She’ll get off with a slap on the wrist, and maybe serve a year or two, and then be back at it.

That’s the answer I’d bet on.

They both didn’t mind the other drinking, she most still likely had a house/condo, vehicles, money, etc. from the divorce, and she nagged a little bit less than the usual barflies he f~~~ed.
