I’ve been trying to ignore women at work for the past few months. Some walk on by like normal, but a few have taken to sticking around longer than usual. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed how they try to put themselves in my line of sight or make noise to bring attention to themselves such as clicking their tongue while pretending to think about something or flicking their sandal against their heel so it’ll slap. Attention is their heroin.
