Be yourself. No F~~~s Given. Develop awareness of how you feel – monitor yourself. (‘Awareness’ by Anthony DeMello is helpful in this). Given two choices do not underestimate the value of the less stressful choice that you feel happier with – even if it appears to provide less immediate financial benefit.

See beyond the labels society gives you – you are not just your job, you are not simply your body (the tall or short guy), you are not depressed (they are feelings that will pass – that is a label that does not define you), etc. You are conscious and alive.

Take care of your wellbeing. Do not allow any event or situation to disturb your wellbeing or hurt you. Express/release anger if you wish. Negative feelings pass. Awareness enables you to drop past conditioning and uncover your natural state of happiness (sat chit ananda). You can be as happy sitting on a beach or rock with no money as the guy who is head of a large corporation.

There are illusions in society that affect peoples behaviour e.g., gynocentric lies and spin in mass media. There are illusions in economic, social, cultural, scientific areas etc. These are often based on ideologies rather than reality.

God exists. There is wisdom in ancient spiritual texts.

Start investing as early as possible.

Do not get a college education in anything that wont be in high demand. Work your way through school, as little debt as possible. Seriously think about a trade, or a profession like a trade (nursing, health care, accounting). Be honest with yourself, if you are not smart, choose something realistic that will allow you to live well.

Live conservatively. How much house do you really need? Be productive, but also, take time to live life to its fullest.
