“You are not here to change the world, the world is here to change you-Shantideva”
So much profound meaning, once you study the mindset behind these monks that are willing to isolate themselves inside the mountains, you will be surprised on how much their perspective on life changed forever. Much respects to all MGTOW monks of any kind that take their lives seriously, specially their own inner happiness.
I will always carry a copy of “Shantideva’s way of the Bodhisattva” with me on my travels…Namaste..

Our mind distorts the information that comes through our five senses, thus distorting our perspective of the world. We keep adding our own 2c, instead of just observing. The main reason why we suffer is because of our own false expectations that do not line up with reality.
A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.

Agreed!
This world is what ever you make it. Heaven or hell, your choice.
The only rule I have found is you can not change other people, they can only change themselves. Sometimes they give you a lesson, sometimes you give them a lesson.
It’s a fun journey. It’s just a ride as Bill Hicks said.
