Like the last 3, AI + robotics has to potential to kill you. Like the last one, it has the potential to kill all of us.

Car are deadly, you are correct, but they are not intelligent machines, (mostly not….yet) don’t operate with independent purpose, and the deadliness of cars comes from human applications.

Similar points can be made for gun control, genetic engineering, cloning, nanotech and arguments made either way but ultimately it is down to who has the power.

Humans don’t like losing control.

I don’t really have an informed opinion either way on the ethics of AI, I just don’t think it’s as black and white as initially presented.
