What Islam says about women

Hi, I’m not here to preach anything, I just want to share a different perspective and view of women from a different culture, and some Islamic views of women aren’t too far from Christianity’s, perhaps it might help you connect some dots and understands women better.

I myself have had the worst experiences in my life with women, I swear there is nothing more terrible than having an intellectually deficient woman in your life, because it means they are stubborn and not even capable of recognizing their destructive behavior. I have always tried to understand this in a religious light, is God going to hold them accountable for this?

In Islamic tradition, perhaps a reality that is not too far fetched, is an idea that women can be very ungrateful for what they are given. In a couple of hadiths, the Islamic prophet mentions that the majority of people in hell are in fact women, it’s due to their ingratitude, wretchedness and dishonorable machination.

It was narrated that the Prophet said: “I looked into Paradise and I saw that the majority of its people were the poor. And I looked into Hell and I saw that the majority of its people are women.”
With regard to the reason for this, the Prophet pbuh was asked about it and he explained the reason.

It was narrated that Muhammad pbuh said: “I was shown Hell and I have never seen anything more terrifying than it. And I saw that the majority of its people are women.” They said, “Why, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Because of their ingratitude.” It was said, “Are they ungrateful to Allah?” He said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’”

This ungratefulness is very very clear with feminists, which have more rights than ever before, even more rights than men. What’s funny is that it is men who made all these women’s rights possible, after all, all presidents were men as well as the majority of the legislators, judges and law enforcement, and it is men who built this country from nothing. And YET, they are ungrateful for everything men have done for them. It’s absolutely disgusting how many good things men can do for women, and in the end all of it is seen as nothing, then some women curse men and wish they never even existed on this planet. Could a person possibly be any more vile than that?

It doesn’t matter what any ideology, religion, culture, doctrine, or dogma has to say about “better understanding” of anything, much less women, unless it is based solely on irrefutable fact.
Even then, one can not understand that which does not wish to be understood. Women do not wish to be understood, they seem to be trying to control through chaos.

Thanks for the different perspective. I had a similar post around here about someone having a Near Death Experience (NDE) and it had some similarities with the women and hell. Now whether the NDE is true or not is another story, I just thought it was interesting.

@grumpy: I’m not saying one culture or one ideology will improve your understanding of something, but seeing something from a vastly different culture, together with what you know about your own culture, could help see a pattern, sometimes it appears that some issues are not exclusive to a culture but are universal, when you realize this about a certain issue it could give clues about basic human nature.

By the way, I don’t think women are ambiguous because they do not wish to be understood, it’s because they are actually complicated and do not understand themselves to begin with. What actually makes men better at all aspects of life is the ability to eliminate the unnecessary and be simple and straight to the point. Im a mgtow and i dont want to opress women, i want women to be held to the same standards and obligations of women.

But i kind of agree with Plato, we men should never have given women the power to vote.

Women have truly fuc*ed up society by voting for manginas.

Well in most Muslim countries women do have the right to vote, where I’m from women can also be ministers, however they cannot be the country’s leader and men are still considered in charge of women and family, arranged marriage is still the norm, fathers get paid more for each family member they have as they are considered to be in charge of the family. Wives have to be obedient to husbands, women cannot easily divorce unless it is proven that the husband is truly abusive, so a woman can’t really mess up a family. And don’t worry fathers cannot abuse these rights, if a father doesn’t pay for his children, the mother or children can report this and the father would be forced to pay. In any case, women are not treated as truly equal to men, because this is reality, genders are different, women have their own rights, but the gender that is actually given the role of leading society are men. I found that living in that country is actually much easier than living in the US (lived in the US for 4 years now), honestly any society where women have too much authority will inevitably hinder men’s quality of life.

This is my opinion, I think humans simply evolved in such way that men take charge, otherwise it’s unnatural and would lead to a worse quality of life for men, just like putting elephants or dolphins in captivity, they actually live much shorter lives in captivity, it doesn’t even matter how nicely you treat them or feed them, because they were simply not evolved to live in captivity.

I’m not going to turn into a Muslim extremist but its true woman are painfully ungrateful. Especially ones that live in first world countries. The fact that we don’t have to hunt and worry where our next meal is coming, fight amongst ourselves for hierarchy, have heated homes with roofs, no natural predator, is amazing. No other creature on the planet has the kind of security we have.

Yet greed and dissatisfaction that woman continue to display is always their. First being a stay at home mom was such a terrible conviction yet woman in throngs are fighting to win a prize man who makes enough money so they can stay home now full time. It would be like woman wanting to be drafted into war and then changing their mind and whining about it (which they would) even though they asked to be drafted as well.

They won’t be satisfied until food, constant entertainment, toilets and orgasm are brought to them on a silver f~~~ing platter, for the entire duration of their life.

Rennie, we have some home grown groups in the West that use an ancient approach to dealing with Women. One group is called the Mormons. The cable TV series called “Big Love” did a fine job of exploring issues with fundamentalist Mormons and Polygamy.

Also, the Amish are interesting. NOT to be confused with the Irish.

From a distance, Amish men are manly/ healthy and Women’s Nature appears to be contained. It looks like their women are a help and not a burden.

Last pulse, Islam does identify Women’s Nature. Your presentation of the ancient texts is nicely done.

Islam and following the example of Mohammad would be appealing, if I had not come to understand the wisdom of MGTOW. I know that I am much better off and fulfilled Going It My Own Way (MGTOW).

I often wonder if, like today, the Old World had become feminized 1400 years ago, where Female Nature became rampant. The word “Byzantine” is used to define aspects of Female Nature. Some synonyms for Byzantine are Secretive, Dishonest, Deceitful, Devious, Scheming, Underhand, Plotting, and Calculating. History has not been kind to the early Christians of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, and Northern Africa.

Perhaps the feminization of the Old World was the prerequisite for the more virile Saracens to invade who later called themselves Muslims?

What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
