This is one of those gems of why I decided I wanted to be part of this website. When I would read posts, and see a mutual respect, even when the views were at polar opposites from each other’s posts.

On the other hand, it is a sad state of affairs to me, when “low blows” by way of name calling & lack of respect, that clouds what inspired me about here, in the first place.

I once heard something I will never forget….

A man (person) argued against his will, is of the same opinion still.

In all the times I have had females blast me out of the water with manipulation, shaming, etc., it never changed my “core beliefs” deep down inside. Did it affect me? Oh, heck ya it did. Beyond measure many times, but because it never made any sense to me, it would only strengthen my resolve to stay/remain/return to being true to myself.

Of course, this sparked & ignited the vicious circle of her replaying the loop of insanity on me over & over again.

@keymaster, I am basically of the same conclusion, immutable laws that are true and/or truth.

The truth never has to be defended, but, it is almost constantly under attack. Like gravity here, it just is. It doesn’t have to be defended, it’s even beyond just a fact. Just one of those truths, that doesn’t change…as long as everything on a cosmic scale keeps the status quo. I reckon I could argue it with someone that wanted to attack that, but since there is no point or profit in it, why bother to?
