    I doubt the market is big enough to justify any mass production, and Nintendo would probably sue your ass off in any case, but it seems doable.

    Modifying a console and selling it is completely legal as long as it ain’t in date.

    Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

    Modifying the duck hunt code to run on the modified console is not.

    If the solution is good enough / cheap enough / profitable enough, nintendo will steal the idea and then sue your ass. If the solution is not good enough, and you sell enough units to justify the cost of development, they’ll just sue your ass. They have to. If companies don’t defend their IP in court, they lose it.

    If you are interested you could set up a RetroPie with and have all the retro games up to nintendo 64.
