I am fairly new to this forum, and up to this point in my life, I have “played the game” because it was the only game in town. At 61, I have finally decided I am too old to “put up with women’s s~~~” anymore. I don’t know what I expected to find here, but one of the things I HAVE found here is an explanation. I DIDN’T expect to find men who thought a lot like me. After reading a lot of posts, and watching a few videos, I have discovered that, though I didn’t have a frame of reference, I have never taken the blue pill; Too many have! That is why more than a few of my essays have been have been scorned, even on conservative sites. There are a LOT of “Blue Pill Conservatives”. I post a lot to Quora and Facebook, or did till I got drowned out by “Blue Pill Conservatives”; I don’t post so much anymore. Frankly, I had decided this world was beyond hope, at least as far as one man changing it. You don’t know how relieved I am to find out I am not alone!
I would like to introduce my self to this sub-forum with an essay I wrote a while back in answer to a Quora question: Why Do Democrats Want to Make College Free. I can tell you, it was not well received there. I updated following the Milo Yiannopolos riot in Berkley for Facebook.
Indeed, this is WAR! Liberals have declared war on the 1st Amendment, and this is just the latest expression. The war has been going on for 50 years. I was watching this video and I had a frightening idea.
Our colleges and universities have become Federally funded, liberal re-education camps, even more so than public schools. Think not? Let’s talk about that.
As you are growing up, your parents teach you their values, their experience…. their way of life. When you go to school, you start getting your liberal indoctrination, starting in the first grade. Many teachers, and administrators hold a liberal bias, but even if they don’t their hands are tied by their superiors who most likely hold that liberal bias. So, these liberal *ideas* are planted with children as fact. All is not lost; the kids come home every night and spend the weekends with their parents, and in their community. So, these ideas are in competition with each other, and the parents have the upper hand because the kids see their parents ideas at work in their family and their community. For 12 years, kids minds are a battleground of competing ideas. If it ended there, it would be a level playing field.
Then, these young, impressionable minds go to college, often hundreds or thousands of miles from home. When they get to college, the college becomes their surrogate parent. Here the competition stops. The faculty and administration are overwhelmingly liberal. Any question your child asks, is asked of the liberal surrogate parent. It is important to understand, that even though these children are technically adults, they have not yet learned to trust their own judgment, and look to “mentors”, whom they give the deference of a parent, to help formulate their own views. Competing ideas are laughed at, labeled sophomoric or provincial, or worse yet, hate speech. If they express an alternative viewpoint, they are “counseled”; if they persist, they are marginalized, or even penalized. This is not helped by the fact that the college environment, their community, in no way resembles the “real world”. It has become so liberal that the Soviet Union looks conservative by comparison. They are spoon fed the perspective they were started with in public education, re-enforced by their environment, and validated by their mentors, to the point that they have no choice but to believe it. This is….
Brain Washing (the freedictionary.com)
1. Intensive, forcible indoctrination, usually political or religious, aimed at destroying a person’s basic convictions and attitudes and replacing them with an alternative set of fixed beliefs.
2. The application of a concentrated means of persuasion, such as an advertising campaign or repeated suggestion, in order to develop a specific belief or motivation.
This is what colleges have become. When kids come out of college, all but the strongest are squeaky clean, young adult liberals.
Now, consider this… Not everyone needs to go to college… Well, that’s preposterous!… Is it? Certainly some form of post-secondary skills training, but college? A lot of college graduates come out looking for work and just can’t find a job. They look till they just get tired of looking, and go live in Mom & Dad’s basement, unable to pay for a home of their own, or even make payments on their student loans… But if college were free, they wouldn’t have a student loan!… True, but then everyone *but them* would be paying for their worthless education.
They can’t find a job, not because there aren’t any jobs, but because they aren’t trained for the available jobs. I know of a plumbing company that is offering to train high school graduates to be plumbers. They offer a very attractive benefit package. If you have ever called a plumber, you know the job is well paid. They have been running their ad for two years! In spite of that, no one wants the opportunity. I know a guy who is a welder. He only works about 9 months out of the year, and most years brings home near or over a 6 figure income. We absolutely need all kind of trades that don’t require a college degree. Employers are crying for qualified (or even unqualified) employees, and just can’t find them. Most people don’t want “that kind of job” because the pay is “too low”, or the job doesn’t hold the “prestige” they feel they deserve. What they don’t understand, though, is that in many of these jobs, if they work 4 to 6 years at them, they will be making on par with or more than an entry level college graduate. And if they aren’t, at least they will be making enough they don’t have to live in Mom & Dad’s basement.
I don’t see how this can change in the next 4 years, but we have to try. Otherwise, our mandate for change in this election will have been for nothing.
When I posted this to another social media site, commenters denied there is a liberal bias in our colleges and universities. It is easy to forget news stories about liberal professors, or to never see them at all (they seldom appear in mainstream media). For those who have missed them, this is a list of about 200 liberal college professors: http://www.professorwatchlist.org/index.php/watch-list-directory/search-by-name , with a brief bio of their notoriety, who, for one reason or another have attracted public attention. This list is by no means a list of all liberal professors, but should be considered representative…. the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. If you still deny a liberal bias in higher education, please read this op-ed by Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times, A Confession of Liberal Intolerance (https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/08/opinion/sunday/a-confession-of-liberal-intolerance.html?smid=fb-share)
I don’t believe in female magic anymore. And will never again gut myself to make room for it. --Narwhal--
I pretty much agree with everything you said. Facebook isn’t popular on these forums, a lot if not most members left that pile of s~~~ to the blue pill c~~~s.
Well, I certainly agree about Facebook, but you know the old saw, “You don’t win a lot of converts preaching to the choir”. I kinda like to think if you leave a few red pills scattered in with the blue, someone might just pick one up 😉

Identity Politics.
I really hate modern education. It used to be a place for higher learning when i went to University. Now they just brainwash the weak minded.

Sometimes avant-garde film producers carry an idea to an illogical extreme to to illustrate a point. After the Berkley riot, you have to wonder if this short film was extreme or just prescient.
