You read the title. One acre of land is 43560 square feet. 6,272,640 square inches. Could we, as a group, buy food producing land? Thoughts please.

I forget who it was Blacque, but he was new and maybe only posted a few times here several months ago, but he was putting forward the idea of a collective of MGTOW minded men doing something like this. Collectively going off the reservation I suppose… Kinda like herding cats though, but if you found the right guys, it would be interesting at the very least to see where it could go.

I know damn well I would get along just fine with most guys here in real life. The only problem I could see is some would want to bus in prostitutes on the weekends, others would be opposed to that idea… Just for the record, THX 1138 is in the pro-prostitute camp.

The idea of a MGTOWn has merit, but that’s a bad implementation. Collectivized farming, especially among a population as diverse and individualistic as MGTOW wouldn’t work.

Instead it might be a plan to do something like individually en-masse purchase a whole rural town somewhere that’s going ghost. Occasionally whole towns do go up for sale, but simply buying out property owners one by one would work too. Pick a state without property tax, obviously. Otherwise I would suggest buying up a huge swath of Detroit, because that’s the biggest ghost town in the making I can think of, but the taxes etc. are the reason why Detroit is going ghost.

the question one would have to raise is “where?”
While acres / ha / squaremeters in the western world are rather expensive, an island off Nova Scotia for example goes for as little as 17m US$.
By far most men I’ve got aquainted to during my “journey” inside the MGTOW manosphere are rather well educated, have taken responsibilites in their professions and consequently represent quite some wealth.
MGTOW movement is taking up moment, at incredible speed, probably it is time to start thinking really BIG.

If men call it a refuge for male victims of domestic violence and abuse, they could probably get funding from alternate sources like the National Lottery to buy the land. Then fence it off.

There’s wooden lodges you can get, that get around planning laws. Be like a gated community for just men. Definitely a good way to downsize as men wouldn’t have massive rent / mortgages to pay.

Then they could start businesses and trade between themselves. Solar panels up for their own electric etc

The significant downside I see to such a plan is that once you start gathering in a significantly sized group, you then can be more easily targeted. Right now the diffused nature of MGTOW is our biggest advantages. If you put up MGTown somewhere the feminists would show up to start protesting, the government would show up to enforce anti-discrimination laws, and it would be under siege from the start.

Regardless, I like the idea. I am just not sure if it is practical.

If we want a whole nation we will need to let some women in for reproductive purposes.

Also for cleaning, cooking and tending toddlers.

This should be possible as long as they are kept seperate of the men and are prohibited to get involved into anything of importance.

There would be women standing in line for this.

I think it would work on long term only if the government cannot get involved. That means finding an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific, or more sci-fi locations such as a floating island or a space station.

Sounds good in theory, but even if you could make it work, it wouldn’t last.

For one people don’t agree on things and would be difficult to maintain the integrity of it, because of outside and inside forces.

Almost all land on the planet belongs to someone, or some entity like a nation. There is no new world waiting to be discovered anymore. You would have to get someone to sell you a remote island for alot of money, or set it up in a country and have to put up with their interference.

The strength of MGTOW is our diffuseness. That we’re everywhere and nowhere. To bring a lot of MGTOW into the same town would invite government oppression (as they’d claim the basis would be discriminatory against women).

The only functional model would be somewhere that has no governmental jurisdiction, say in international waters (floating island), or colony on Mars. But those are prohibitively expensive. Besides, we already have our MGTOWn right here.

It would basically have to be it’s own country without an already established government already in charge. We would have to have a large enough chunk of land with resources that would allow us to create and build our own military, medical facilities and research centers, Radio and Tv facilities for anti-foreign propaganda purposes.

If we allow women in they would have to give up all “rights” to voting, holding political offices and trying to get in corporate management. They would be nothing more than wives that would have babies and take care of the house. They could do nothing outside of those tasks without their husbands permission. (I don’t mean like Islam treats their women).If they were to try to go around or defy these and other possible restrictions they would be immediately deported. Their role would be subservient only. Divorce would be impossible unless the man initiates it. Upon completion of the divorce the female would be deported. Boys would have to attend a course in school on how to handle the women in their lives. Girls would only be taught what it would take to tend a house, obey her husband and raise children. I could go on but I don’t want to write a book.
