What does a 50% Male spending society look like

I was just thinking, if woman do between 70-80% of the spending in our society and most things are created to tend to to them what would society look like if men actually spent half of all money earned instead of forking it over to their wives and daughters.

I imagine firstly that every male would be illustriously wealthy, and with every male possessing so much wealth we could have lifestyles we could hardly dream of today. Talking retirement in our 40’s, sophisticated video games that build on themselves.

Everything about entertainment and media would be different. Their would probably be some incredibly deep movies, and tv shows rising to the mainstream.

We’d likely be much more technologically advanced. Woman would have less power since so much less wealth would be under their control.

First thing comes to mind is no more fricking romance movies. Romance movies have caused more misconceptions about “love” than porn has about real sex. (starting with helping brainwash people like me into believing that women actually loved men)

I think MOST Men would spend about the same as they do now, but would INVEST more into: rental property, retirement funds, business ventures ETC.

The amount of disposable income men would have if they did would be incredible. Just think back to when dating and female involvement stopped for us. Each of us are different of course. I bet when I had a steady woman and dated I bet 2-3 thousand a year spent on them. This would include, fuel, nicer clothes than normal, trips, meals etc.
Now invest that or save it. Hell I’d rather donate it than spend it on some woman and try to fill a bottomless pit of expectation. Society would shift in our favor.

As KM mentioned sales. We all know retailers mark up s~~~ and then put it half off and they buy it because it was on sale with no prior research on pricing. They just had to have because it was on sale. Then bitch because the car payment is due because they are broke. How much would be saved? Ask a woman how much is in the savings acct? A blank look is what you will usually get.

Example:
My wife made about half of what I made. Theoretically we were 50% richer as a couple. However, since I was the man I paid all the bills, and the vacations, and the maintenance, upkeep and gas. She spent every dime she made and some of mine on junk, crap, s~~~, garbage, useless things and herself. She drove up credit cards and cashed in her 401k twice to buy more junk, crap, s~~~, garbage, useless things. After she was gone my disposal income went way up. I paid off the cars, the credit cards and all the bills except my mortgage. Additionally, all my insurance premiums for health and dental went down, food bills dropped, gurly supplies gone, power and water bills dropped. I pay a bit more in taxes. Even with a 1/3 of my income gone I am way, way, way richer. I eat better food, go more places, I could rant all day how great it is to not pay a woman’s way through life. I spent years decades suffering by doing it and can compare both lives as an expert. Take my word woman are expensive and wasteful. No matter how much you make they will find a way to spend more that that. Ask Robert Dniro, or Johnny Depp.

I’ve mentioned this before… if you are actively attempting to engage with females, a SIGNIFICANT amount of the money you spend goes to that effort in one way or another.

Most young men who have not been awoken yet spend money on cars, clothes, home decorations, personal grooming, skills development and activities that are ostensibly for themselves but which are selected for their appeal to women. THEN they spend even more money going to bars, gyms, beaches, vacation spots and other locations where they might find women. THEN they spend money doing or consuming things at those locations while they hunt/fish for women. THEN they spend money directly on women they’re trying to approach and date.

If dating were not a priority and they spent even a portion of that money on items and activities they want solely for their own use and enjoyment, you would see a sea change in the type of goods and services offered in the market. Malls would reformat themselves to be equally if not more focused on men’s interests and women’s shopping options, particularly coture and cosmetics, would recede in equal amount.

With the excess money they have not being transferred to women, men would cease to fund the purchase of landfill consumer goods and instead be able to invest in durable goods, business and land and all of society would be enriched… even if men worked less and saved more.

Cut them off at the wallet, boys. Spend your money on yourself.

It’s also important to note a major part of male spending today comes from purchases for the women they’re with or in hopes of impressing women, ie expensive cars, brand clothing, pointless expensive trinkets like watches, houses for women, etc.

Cars would become both more fuel efficient and more powerful, not to mention they would have a much higher life span. Computers would follow the same trend along with software and games.

I think men’s time would come along with that extra cash. As someone pointed out, men would retire early. That probably wouldn’t work as many hours to begin with, leaving more time for hobbies. Probably more many actually do their hobbies as work…doing what they love.

But you also have to consider that men would also have more time to spend bonding with other men. Maybe. The biggest factor in that regard is that women actively try and keep men from spending time without them.

Kind of along the same lines, I often wonder what work would be like if there were no women here. It’s not that women are always the problem, but management would be much more capable of cutting the s~~~ out of work if they didn’t have to worry about making sure it was a pleasant environment for women.

It is in our nature to push the boundaries and look for potential future resources.

If men spent on the future instead of forking it over to women I suspect we would have thriving colonies on Mars and be mining the asteroid belts looking for resources to terraform Mars and Venus.

Instead. Men spend all their resources on getting triangular hairpie and making better cameraphones so women can take better selfies while wearing the latest “fashion” at a 1000.00 a day spa getting a seaweed facial.
