If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times.

He has the responsibility and she has the authority.
    What an arrangement.
    Marriage.

Actually, they are probably looking out for the mangina’s and their own interests short term.

What if it is a single man buying tile for his own place? What if it is 2 gay guys? This idea was poorly thought out lol.

I think it’s a joke designed to draw in more customers. I’m sure they’d be happy to take money from anyone.

    Ok. Then do it.

Why doesn’t the wife just do the f~~~ing shopping herself?

Because hubby failed a series of s~~~ tests starting before he proposed. Now, he is just an obedient drone.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

I’ll just go to another place to buy tiles, then.

The best thing a mgtow can do is to stop spending money in gynocentric companies.

    That will hurt there profit.

I think it’s a joke designed to draw in more customers

That’s the problem. It’s actually not a “joke”. They are perfectly serious, If you want to prove it, just put a sign in front your business “women choosing curtains must get note from husband” and see who’s laughing now. There are actually men out there who’s wives make them sleep on the couch. Now that’s a joke.

…. until you make your wife sleep on the couch – or refuse to have a wife at all — because you don’t want some bitch in your life who thinks you need “a note” for permission to pick out f~~~ing tiles for a kitchen you’re renovating and paying for.

The reason it’s a “joke” and works as comedy…… is because everyone knows men are superior. It’s unspoken (especially by women) but it’s universally understood , and that’s what makes it “funny”……… ” A MAN getting a note from his WIFE!!! !HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! OH MAN THAT”S GOOD ONE!!!!”

Nobody really believes it, and thats why they all laugh when women pretend “women are smarter than men”.

    ••••••••••••••

……until a man says”men are smarter than women”. Then it’s not “funny” anymore.

Are women “joking” when they say “women are smarter than men?
Find out by saying “men are smarter than women” and watch their reactions.

The entire 25=part misandry in the media series is about exactly this s~~~. How companies lower men down to beneath the female level in order to sell products. They know if you LOWER a man, kick him in the b~~~~, pretend he needs a note from his wife to buy f~~~ing tiles he’s also expected to install……. women will buy it, because women are 80% of consumer spending.

They lap that s~~~ up. Until you reverse the sexes.

Women think you need new tiles even when you don’t need new tiles.
She should get a “note” just for THINKING that.

    Who’s laughing now.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Of course, women will not think it’s funny if the reverse were true. It also wouldn’t be funny if it said ‘black men must have note from owner’. It wouldn’t be funny if it said ‘kids must have note from parents’. The former is way too offense and has no truth to it, while the 2nd is so obviously true that it’s not even funny. It’s a joke because there’s some element of truth to it, many married men operate that way and wouldn’t readily admit to it. I don’t see why reverse or similar statements factor in at all.

I’m not offended by the sign, I don’t see it as a problem. The tile company is not driving culture, it’s responding to culture. If a comedian made the same joke, I doubt anyone would be offended as they are also responding to culture, not driving it.

On the other hand, when I was looking at buying a house, there was a builder who had an ad out depicting a mother with 2 kids…no Dad in sight. They were not going to get my business as they were obviously targeting single mothers (using child support for income) as customers. There was no joke there. When it comes to ads that depict men as morons, I have mixed feelings. I am against ads or movies where a woman hitting a man is considered funny,.

Aside: While I was married, I had the house painted, put in wood floors, and pavers in the backyard. In all cases, my ex and I came to a consensus before I went ahead and did it or had it done. Contrast that to my ex buying some funky ass wall decoration one day like I was out at work. When I asked her to take it back, it was a huge argument as to why she couldn’t just go buy what she wanted and decorate the house the way she wanted (with my money)? Why couldn’t I just lie and tell her I like it, tell her she’s great at decorating? Other wives got to do that…

    Ok. Then do it.

Nice to hear your thoughts guys. Thanks for the picture Max, it literally made my evening.

I think it’s a joke designed to draw in more customers.

That did occur to me aswell. When I first saw it I thought, “That has to be a joke. Surely they can’t turn down a customer – turning down his money in the process – just because he doesn’t have a note. What kind of mindless business would operate like that.”

Then I saw some of the comments on the website that I grabbed the picture from. They were about what you’d expect.

    “Lol brilliant!”
    “OMG that’s awesome!”
“Haha! Good idea too! Husbands are so useless at choosing things!”
“LOL! Yeah, I’ve known guys who went shopping for homewares and an hour or so later, his poor wife had to return to the store and exchange everything!”

“Had to”. Mm-hmm. Also good to know that his preferences don’t matter.

But if what the person in the last comment said happens a lot (and we all know that it probably does), then there’s an easy chance that the picture could be legit – perhaps the staff have simply grown tired of getting an earful from exasperated wives? Could be their way of trying to prevent tantrums before they start. Besides, seems like a lot of trouble to go to for an elaborate joke.

But either way, it’s idiotic. Would it just be too practical to put up a sign that reads, “We can no longer offer refunds or exchanges, so please choose carefully!”
