    Hi there everybody,

Recently I’ve conducted some repeated research about this female lesbian journalist called Norah Vincent, who had the courage to undertake an experiment on herself disguising herself as a man for a staggering 18 months solid back in 2006,  basically aiming to try to tap into and shed a light onto the male psyche and behavior regarding most of male relevant issues such as sex drive, dating and male companionship. After she had finished these 18 months, she wrote an interesting book about her experiences, as well as the ultimate nervous breakdown that she suffered towards the very end of the experiment. And she ended up actually all the more appreciating being a women and moreover developed quite a bit more understanding of and even some more respect for men as a result. In one of numerous interviews given after the release of her book, she also at one point admitted, that for a while she became something of a momentary misogynist herself, especially during and after she had to deal with plentiful very quick brushoffs by women when she was trying to date them as a man.

Anyway here is the video about what and how she did it (some of you might already have watched this):

Sure enough from her dating experience, I shall leave you this original quote from the very book itself (which I read entirely):

” Yet as much as these women wanted a take-control man, at the same time, they wanted a man who was vulnerable to them, a man who would show his colors and open his doors, someone expressive, intuitive, attuned. This I was, and I always got points for it, but feeling the pressure to be that other world bestriding colossus at the same time made me feel very sympathetic towards heterosexual men, not only because living up to Ceasar is an immensely heavy burden to bear, but because trying to be a sensitive new age guy at the same time is pretty well impossible. If women are trapped by the whore/Madonna complex, men are equally trapped by this warrior/minstrel complex. What’s more while a man is expected to be modern, that is, to support feminism in all of its particulars, to see and treat women as equals in every respect, he is on the other hand often still expected to be traditional at the same time, to treat a lady like a lady, to lead the way and pick up the check. Expectation, expectation, expectation…”

Here is one interview she gave after her book “Self-made Man” was released (the sound quality on this one may be a bit poor, but hey…):

Actually in retrospect this following part of another interview is much better as in somewhat vindicating our stance:

And for those of you who might want to read something, there is another written interview with her to be found here:

So what do you guys think of this one and who of you have heard about it before..?

Wow Ned thanks for sharing this. After seeing this my respect for my own gender increased ten fold!

Of course her book will be panned by feminists worldwide because feminism isn’t about introspection or self-realisation or cognitive content of any form. Its simply irresponsibly prehensile power politics.

The other Karen Straughan is divorced with two kids and not looking. Really FYL. 😛

Ahh, forget Karen Straughan by comparison, I mean she hardly ever made a fraction of an effort than what this woman did… Now, I wouldn’t ever call Norah V. a unicorn but at least a slight NAWALT type (never mind her being a lesbian what the hell…).

Becoming a NAWALT nearly destroyed her mind! Says allot for our ability to remain sane and functional. However I think her point of view was tainted with estrogen, she said men “need” affection, for all we know her subjects were mangina.

Men choose affection, and need beer.

No additions needed there, you’re right, MG.
