How AWESOME is the day you decide that it’s NEITHER.
It’s just jeans and a shirt.

    Now that’s freeing.

This thought exactly. For the sake of others I’ll explain why its important to have an attitude where you don’t care if the other person ‘likes’ you or not.

Seeking validation is a weakness because it isn’t always accurate, and it depends on everybody except you.

Just think about this: you might look very good on that costume. But a bunch of girls, who don’t ike you, or maybe even jealous of you, start talking s~~~. “Look at that guy Jason. He dresses like s~~~!” This gets parroted and everyone starts ‘disiking’ your dress; not because its really bad (it might be first class) but because ‘some peope decided the don’t like it and other people folowed in their footsteps.’

By removing your need to seek external validation, you don’t give others a chance to define your life; you don’t let them make you happy or make you sad.

This is what almost every father says to his daughter when she starts having teenage issues. “Other people don’t matter. Only what you think of yourself matters, and in some cases, of those who are very close to you.”

I understand fashion is your thing and its almost impossible to go into fashion ‘not giving a f~~~ about what others think’.. but if you’re really MGTOW you would not mind the negative reaction of the members here, and go do your own thing somewhere else where the questions you have asked are acceptable; maybe a fashion forum for men? That is the best option. Just not here.

MGTOW or not, we lot are very susceptibe of effeminate behaviour because it reminds of our devastating past. “How do I look” screams female and we are automatically forced on our guard to expect a negative outcome or expectiation. Request you to please oblige.

From the MGTOW standpoint, I think it’s ok to participate in fashion as a hobby for your own pleasure.

Part of that hobby may be polling other’s opinions on your fashion.

However, MGTOW Central isn’t where we’re discussing hobbies. Maybe try again in one of the other sub forums, and introduce it as one of your personal interests.

Alternately, our individual looks heavily influence how we are treated by others. Since part of our MGTOW lifestyle is interacting or avoiding, it might be helpful to discuss clothing options to the end goal of either ghosting or manipulating the system.

Jason. I believe you has missed the point of MGTOW, which is to NOT stand out. You got a good body. Now, slashed jeans sucked when they were introduced in the 80’s. And they are worse now. They are basically defective jeans sold as a style. I remember when slash jeans first came out. They were marketed towards teenage girls. That should tell you everything you need to know.

And bright shirts with single words on them often get unintended reactions.

Dark colors are the best for shirts. Blank t-shirt and button up shirts. And regular jeans and pants.

As for your hair. You look like you are in the military. If you are, then keep the hairstyle. If not, let your hair grow out some.

Also, I suggest you delete the photo of you on this thread. I am concerned you might draw flack from the anti-male lurkers on this former.

    I’m a full on MGTOW.

How many times are you going to keep saying it? It’s like you are trying to convince us, but here’s the kicker….we aren’t here to give you approval.

I will say this though from my experience on this site so far. You are THE only guy I have seen put his pic up for everyone to see. Most of us enjoy the anonymity!

As for jeans, I’m a simple kinda guy Levi 501’s all the way.

The one good thing about that photo is that you’re in shape.

The other posters made very good points.

Most men won’t care about your looks as long as you put some clean clothes on, unless it’s a job dress code. Although I’ve seen also men who cared a lot about fashion and appearances, but those were also the ones chasing girls all the time, and they were somewhat bitchy. Never liked their company.

If you want to have a “cool” look, that’s perfectly fine as long as you do it for yourself and not for the attention of others. But you wondered in the original post if girls would like it, which made you look insecure. Chasing girls is obviously frowned upon on this forum.

What do you guys think of my look? Is it Cool or or is it Gay?

If you were a female would you consider having sex with me (or if you were a male)? Even if you wouldnt have sex with me? Would you stop at a handjob?

This HAS to be a f~~~ing wind up.

No man should judge another man by his looks. That’s what women do.

Now work on a handshake, eye contact and what’s in your soul & heart.

That other s~~~ is just rags and clippers and does not make what’s inside.

You’re young … you will learn my friend.

I do admire your bravado JS. You are young. Why do you worry so much about what others think about you appearance?

I had a woman hit on me when I was dressed in my paddling clothes last week. Fashionable they are not, and I even get mocked by the beach drunks. I don’t give a f~~~ though.

I was the same way when I was your age always worrying about what others thought of me. Others will steer you according to their agendas.

I would lose that “Milan” shirt though. The Chicken Hawks would be all over you in the gay section of my city just from that shirt.

I used to have a fashion conscious friend when I was younger. He was a total Chad and ALWAYS dressed to kill. He would slay the pussy too.

I don’t give a f~~~ about fashion. I only care about looking good for business purposes when needed.

JS, as you’ve learned from this thread MGTOWs do not hold back. I’m more worried that you are obsessed with it which is not good.

For the record, I only shop thrift stores for clothes. Rich people buy really nice s~~~ for $$$$ never wear it and donate it. I’m getting clothes for 2 cents on the dollar and starving the beast at the same time. That’s MGTOW.

@jasonstylin: It’s the haircut. It does come off initially as gay. I’m from the US, and a lot of the hair and fashion styles look gay right now (by default). I feel sorry for you young guys. I think most of the people making the clothes and fashions are gay, therefore, you get a more gay look out there for young men. Why? Because, gay men are fashion experts. Didn’t you know?

You have a baby face, so you need to roughen that up a bit. If you want to bang women, some do like clean cut, but with your baby face it will be harder. You need to go rugged bad boy look. You have an outstanding physique. Great job, there!

    Real men dress like this:

Simple, not-so-candid, authoritative, buff and mature.

    null

And the look like lower-middle class factory workers.
