What did you do for you this weekend?

Myself, I just really try to relax on weekends since I started a new job in March. I have my daughter, so I watched her play soccer in the morning, took her on on a long bike ride, and then we grilled burgers for dinner. I read a lot and also watched the end of the Pens-Senators game. I am currently downing some Heinekens and feel great. I try to keep my life simple and free.

I’m researching guns. Once I clear up this debt I’m going to purchase a couple. So planning.

Bought some 22lr ammo for my new side arm.
The next step is to buy some more magazines.

Started to till the land to get ready to plant seeds for vegetable garden still have more to do lots of back breaking work but healthy for you. One of my hives have no bees flying around in it so I will have to get a new queen from the other hive I have and start the process all over again. Really sucks when you lose a entire hive over the winter and usually takes one year for the new queen to make enough bees to fill it with her new workers. I am lucky both hives didn’t die this year that would have been worse but at least the honey won’t go to waste.

Saturday morning I spent a couple hours working on a model kit I’m building. It’s a Tamiya kit of a Panzer II. Then I switched gears and headed off to the gym for about an hour. I climbed on the treadmill and ran 4 miles. After the gym I came home and chilled the rest of the day. Later in the evening I took in a baseball game, Louisville Bats, down in Louisville. We lost 4 to 2, but it was such a gorgeous evening it really didn’t matter one damn bit. It was just a really nice time.
Today I’ll go to the gym and then who knows. I love the freedom I have to figure it out all by myself.

Watched some vids on making cuttings from cactus plants. Went out and bought the supplies I needed. Separated a large cluster of Texas Fish Hook Cactus into 3 containers plus a plate of “babies” to propagate into new plants.

Spent all weekend​ with my daughter, bring her to park, enjoyed seeing her playing with other children. Prepared a pizza for dinner. Watched some movies on the night. Relaxed myself.
