I imagine once men hit that age where the average life expectancy for each sex leaves a lot more women alive then men your SMV among your peers is through the roof. Filter in the divorced or widowed dudes who if they want any woman its going to be younger, not 70+, and that leaves those older women with pretty much no options. Why are men telling them they aren’t paying for dinner? Same reason we are seeing women in their 20s ride the carousel…because they can. The only difference though is that those women hit the wall and there are consequences for their actions when they can’t find a good guy. Old men don’t have to worry about that.
