What A Nice Day

Today is February 17th and it’s about 70 here in Chicago. What a wonderful day to go out for a long bike ride. We aren’t suppose to get days like this in February. Then again, we haven’t seen not even an inch of snow since before Christmas. This has been a warn and quiet winter so far, and there’s only a month more of astronomical winter. They said we were suppose to have a horrible winter this year. Well December DID suck, but as of Christmas, we haven’t seen an inch of snow, and today is about 70; can’t get better than this.

I drank my Amino Energy (Blue Raspberry), had my CLA Core and I’m about to head out; after I see just how warm it really is.

By the way, if it’s above 61 (it’s about 70), then we set a new record high for February 17th..

When you think of all the modern entertainment systems we are persuaded to buy to make us happy. Then compare it to a day when the weather smiles and all is good with the world. Makes me wonder if we’ve been sold a lie in material happiness. The simple pleasures win everytime. Once basic needs are met all we need is health and freedom to enjoy the world in peace.

I wish you and all, many sunny warms days to lift your spirits and feed your soul.

Damn right it’s a nice day! Today I have a power lift I just installed in my Gravely 450 SNOWBLOWER! All that snow you’re so happy to not see made it a few states over and FELL ON ME! My f~~~ing arm is still sore from using the SNOWBLOWER LIFT LEVER! F~~~ THAT! I pulled a parts machine from Tower’s junkyard and put it in the running machine! Now it’s a toggle switch and not a 3ft LEVER!

Last 1″ or more of snow in Chicago was December 17th, and the forecast has us in the 60s and upper 50s for the next 10 days. No doubt this has been a very unusual winter this year here. Ever since Christmas, we haven’t seen snow on the ground anywhere and we’ve had more rain than snow this year.

I’m not complaining. If you live in this area this winter, it’s not a winter to complain about, because we’re suppose to see much worse than what we’ve gotten by now.

Michigan was equally warm and sunny today. I’ve been riding my bike to work all week and will do it again this week.

Resident, I was supposed to leave for Chicago tomorrow night, but my mechanic can’t get my clutch rebuilt in time because of all the rust he’s running into. So, that means I can’t attend the Paris Combo concert at City Winery on Sunday night at 8PM. If you like French jazz, ResidentEvil7, you are welcome to use my ticket. Well we did hit our first 70 degree day today; 4th time in Chicago history in February. Good to be outside, because it wasn’t any good for my PS3 which froze on me because it was like 80 in my room with the window open and my PS3 doesn’t like warm temperatures.
