    As for why women does that.

    However NEVER EVER bring a non-western women west, you will ruin her by removing any cultural or religious checks and balances she may have had on her in her country of origin. Even if she’s just some girl you met. If you must, see her in her country, and leave her there.

    All of the above assumes you’ve lived in her country, know the culture and language well. If you don’t have all three don’t even try it. Foreign women play for keeps. Once she gets residency, or God help you, citizenship, along come your in-laws, to stay.
