Peoples behavior may have changed, but not the people themselves. They all pretty much want what they have always wanted. Read any great literature from ancient Greece to the William Burrows and you will see that people don’t change their nature much. Although they may behave differently, dress differently, use different language etc. but all these things are superficial. Human nature doesn’t change much if at all.

I didn’t say that movies and TV have not changed in the last 50 years, I said they do not represent reality any better today than they did back in the day. Reality TV? My arse! What is in any way real about the f~~~ing Kardashions?

I actually dug an old movie out of my collection last night, “A touch of evil” 1957 with Charlton Heston and Orson Welles. Dirty cops, drugs, bombs, sex for sale and murder, it made the Sopranos look like kids stuff. Were people really so different back in 1957? I don’t think they were.

Men refine fuel , produce food , build and maintain almost everything.
