watched the Moon Landings in 1969 ‘live’ as they happened on a black and white TV

My father took pictures of the TV at that time, it says “live from the surface of the moon” I remember it like it was yesterday!

I’m sure my dad’s work on the guiding systems was all bulls~~~ and he was lying to me the same way countless other fathers were lying to their kids about the space agency.

    Big conspiracy right?

There’s no space station either right?

The stars are holes in a big piece of paper right?

    <iframe width=”500″ height=”281″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/qzMQza8xZCc?feature=oembed” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=””></iframe>

That’s great MG Tower, to have those pics.

I remember it well, we were all glued to the screen.

Now, if it’s a conspiracy then yes, it means likely the whole world and his dog are in on it.

Unless of course this whole planet is just an illusion? Come to think of it, women were just an illusion all along anyway.

It would have been more work and harder to fake it than to just do it.

And cheaper too. Than paying all those people off to lie for the rest of time.

You download it and your name will certainly be on a new list!

I’m sure all our names are already on plenty of lists. The trick is to be so boring that nobody gives a f~~~. Honestly I almost feel sorry for the “intelligence” analysts who have to dig through millions upon millions of facebook twaddle looking for s~~~.

    Almost.

I’m sure my dad’s work on the guiding systems was all bulls~~~ and he was lying to me the same way countless other fathers were lying to their kids about the space agency.

Here’s the thing about that: we know almost to the penny how much the Apollo project cost. We know the government was spending that money because so many people clearly remember signing the backs of the checks. I’ve watched a few shuttle launches, but I know plenty of people who watched the Saturn-V launches and they tell me there’s no f~~~ing comparison. We’re talking orders of magnitude bigger launches. Massive delta-V. If they weren’t going to the moon, then where the f~~~ were they going?

Have you ever seen a Saturn-V up close and personal? It’s inconceivable to me that anyone with a bunch of those in his back pocket wouldn’t use them to get to the moon. Or that anyone could possibly think otherwise.

It simply doesn’t make sense that any government would spend more than enough money and time and effort to develop the capability to go to the moon and then for whatever reason not go. And then spend even more money ginning up fancy special effects to fake it.

    Occams f~~~ing razor.

We are just devolving back as far as knowledge and the ability to think goes, and all opinions are equally valid. If you want to believe up is down and down is left? Well you are just as right as everyone else regardless how factually wrong you actually are (hug hug), and to say otherwise is bullying, and anyone who tells you how wrong you are with the actual facts, is just a sheeple.

That’s what scares me big time. In the future no one will agree on what the truth is anymore. People will chose not to believe even the most obvious things around them. Which will lead to total anarchy.

That’s why the future is gonna suck.

From the viewing stands you can actually see the sound approaching across the water before it hits you. And I’ve been told the Saturn-V launches were a couple magnitude more impressive than that.

Don’t want anything in life but if i had two wishes one would be to see a launch and the other the pyramids

They’re OK, but you can get most of the experience by looking at videos. Yellowstone, Yosemite, The Grand Canyon, Robson, McKinley, Mazama, Sequoia, Zion, and so on cannot be captured like that. You really have to be there.

I’m not doubting any of you guys, lots of interesting arguments both ways. Heres the problem, I’ve been lied to so much by the “experts” that I really don’t believe anything the government tells me any more. I’m not saying its all false, but I think anything NASA (formerly NAZI scientists) put out is dubious. I’ll believe it when someone, I know and trust, sets foot on the moon. I don’t trust Elon Musk either because he seems to be nothing more than a CON Man milking the government grant system to fund his R&D for his many companies.

you gotta believe in Yourself and your ability to decipher truth, in spite of lies and miseducation and history revision that is happening NOW more and more.

Internet education is like syphilis: soak up dirty, spew dirty.

there is generally only one reality. Many angles of view but still, one reality in fact.
NetReasoning is political and disputable and untrustworthy. anything goes and anything no-s but nobody here now knows.

There were mock ups of the moon. Simulations of spaceship and lunar settings but that does not prove everything was “fake”.
If anyone wants to believe in nothing, well you can fulfill your needs as you like because you are nothing ‘like words on a screen’. well whad’ya f~~~ing know?

Fakeness is the easiest non-truth to prove. Just add false speculation and remove yourself from the scene. Oh yeah you were not there…so it could not have happened… lying-ass punks. Can’t think yourself real can you.

    1) jesus didn’t say ANY of the s~~~ the bible says he said
    2) mohamed didn’t say ANY of the s~~~ the koran said he said
    4) buzz decked the attacker as he should have because he was spewing like a raving c~~~
s~~~ I meant 3) booom * you pick whats true. adjust yer skirt.

STOP F~~~ING WITH MY MOON its my favourite viewpoint.
I did it therefore I dooed it, and it reeeeeeally stank; sayz who?

Yes I own the moon, collect rent, have a deed and there is NO HANDICAP PARKING available. Gurls don’t belong cause there is a MAN in the moon and the COW jumpt over.
so it is written. truth. justice. Way. written. f~~~intrue. sure.

Heres the problem, I’ve been lied to so much by the “experts” that I really don’t believe anything the government tells me any more.

But you don’t have to rely on the word of “experts” for this stuff. You can work out for yourself how the moon landing deniers arguments are bunk. Take their claim that the Van Allen radiation belts prevent any possible manned spaceflight beyond low earth orbit. Try to work out for yourself why that simply isn’t the case. See if you can find a solution to this supposed problem. Here’s a hint: they’re called radiation belts for a reason.

I’m not saying its all false, but I think anything NASA (formerly NAZI scientists) put out is dubious.

Only a few of them were Nazis, and only really at the beginning. And you have to look at who those nazis actually were. Wernher von Braun was an asshole and a creep and complicit in genocidal slavery and murder, but he was also obsessed with rockets and going to the moon. All his crimes were towards that end. The whole reason he joined the nazis was because he had no other choice. Otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to pursue his dream of manned spaceflight. And even the Nazis themselves didn’t trust his loyalty to them. And they were correct. Spacers are spacers first and foremost, not really germans or americans or russians. The nazis knew his first and only loyalty was manned spaceflight, not their s~~~ty politics. I think they even arrested him a few times, but released him because even Hitler realized they couldn’t run their rocket program without him.

His whole life von Braun was desperate to the point of autism to put men on the moon. Look at all the horrible s~~~ he did for that sole goal. Do you really think he would have settled for anything less than the real thing?

Apart from the suggestion the world is flat. That s~~~ is dumb.

It’s dumb because anyone can debunk it. The greeks managed to work out the Earth is round thousands of years ago. It’s even easier to figure it out today. Anyone who has ever been jetlagged knows the earth is round.

In 1964 skunkworks built the SR-71, they were nearly in space and achieved Mach 3+ nearly escape velocity, The technology was blooming in all areas of aviation and rocketry. 1969 is well inside the window of technology.

achieved Mach 3+ nearly escape velocity,

    No offense, but not quite.

The SR-71 can get above 3500 km/hr when it’s way the f~~~ up there, which is really f~~~ing fast, but escape velocity for the earth is over 40,000 km/hr. That’s a bit faster.

The impressive thing about the SR-71 is that it manages to achieve that speed and maintain it on just the fuel it carries in it. And control it at speed, too. The Saturn-V can achieve escape velocity, but that’s pretty much all it can do, and it only manages that by leaving most of its mass behind it. It can’t really change its flight path like the SR-71 can. An SR-71 can dodge and weave and change directions and do all sorts of s~~~ at speed. A Saturn-V? Not so much. Once that monster lights off, the crew are going to the moon whether they want to or not.

    From Wikipedia:

    “The escape velocity from Earth is about 11.186 km/s (6.951 mi/s; 40,270 km/h; 25,020 mph)”

Speed of sound 767mph X 3= 2,301mph, only 22,917 mph short! Maybe the pilot can gain a little more if he held out his arms and flapped???
