All-male work environments will give men less temptation to mess around with female co-workers and keep them focused on their jobs. Also, they are free to joke about women without being sent to the HR dept.

I think there should be as many all-male work environments as legally possible. And all-male private clubs as well.

If any of the women were worth a damn, then why would you need a person like Harvey to get you in the door? But then again, these women had every option to take the high road and did naturally what came natural to them. It was only when the money stopped flowing did they balk.

Of course it is morally wrong. But then the reason why I see this even being an issue is that Harvey played the game that women have played so long, and he was better at it. And women don’t like you playing their games. They tend to be very protective of having all the pieces on the game board in their favor.

When you look at it, it was just like any other exchange. Women sleep with men for drugs, for a place to live, food everything. Its just when it comes to a job, and the man has the power and women lose it. THEN it RAPE.

But then men have been getting “Raped” and run over the coals for years and no one seems to bat an eye.

If women really want to stop being raped, then don’t f~~~ing volunteer.

Bottom line. Its about attention and money. These women are not “Hurt”. And if they want to know what rape feels like. Talk to some people in the congo.

First of all, no one made them do anything. This is the flawed thinking that leads us to the notion that women cannot decide as free agents what they want to do with their bodies. How do you know a women, aware of her physical beauty and a man’s attraction to it, didn’t propose satisfying his desire in exchange for something she wants. When you show up at Harvey’s motel room for the third time to discuss a new movie role at around midnight, you have agreed to a bargain and you are not being abused.

Maybe a bunch of us movie goers should sue the woman/actress to get our money back from the movie she was in as I expected her to be chosen on talent and not how firm her t~~~ were. That fraud. These sorts of things are all perspective.

I agree with you to the extent that someone holds a public trust position, and instead of conducting the business at hand in a fair and impartial way……instead uses the position to solicit sex. To the degree private companies have policies against it, then if you violate them you should be fired.

On the other hand……contracts between private parties that may include sex, government should stay out of people’s private affairs.

The thing is though that they don’t have to, and they never did.

They had the perfectly valid option at the time to say no, walk out of the room and expose Weinstein and those they accuse of being like him as the predators they accuse them of being.

The problem being that they then would face the twin challenges of competing for the roles on their own merit and relying on their fellow actresses to likewise not take the easy route of getting on their knees and sucking c~~~ to jump the line, essentially the prisoners dilemma on steroids.

They themselves took the easy option, took the roles, the money, the glitz the glamour and everything else that goes with it then cried foul decades later to salve their precious feels and convince themselves that they actually got where they are today on any kind of ability other than that of sucking c~~~.

Yes, there are guys who would do this from the perspective of “suck my c~~~ or you won’t get a look at the role” and yes they are scumbags but when it’s being offered on a platter that’s a whole different ballgame.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I read the article earlier. That ship has sailed. More than a day late and a dollar short. I’m glad this Harvey Weinstein era is here. Finally, some men who have been lackluster in workplace will play it a lot smarter.

One such snowflake on my team has resigned and I made sure HR, my VP and SVP, both women, got a full record of everything since the day she was hired. The snowflake did good work, but caused a s~~~storm when she got hired, coercing the SVP to bump up her pay that she failed to negotiate. It even caused a rift between me and SVP and heat from HR. Then it was constant requests for concessions.

At the follow-up meeting with snowflake, I made sure to invite SVP, who by now was on to her. SVP made it clear afterwards that she’d walk her out of the fcuking building immediately if it was up to her.

Women like Rice and SVP are realizing the snowflakes have gone too far, and men have taken notice. There is literally one woman left in my branch. The execs in my division are wary hiring anyone female and under 30.
