Well the state of Illinois is in the hole $14.7 Billion dollars. If they don’t figure out how to pay that down, the state will shut down.
They also have $130 Billion in pensions that isn’t being paid. Looks like this state may turn red sooner than we hoped. Alot of this money not being paid is for schools, $15 Billion of it. If August comes around and the schools aren’t able to start, some p~~~ed off people in that state. Oh and did i mention, this is Obama’s state.

When will the walfare and foodstamp checks start to bounce in that state?

.. to say nothing of of the $130 billion in pension obligations.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

    And we all fall down!

Not so bad if you’re down already!

They’ll just raise taxes even higher on the people that don’t live in the abandoned structures anymore!

When’s it Vermont’s turn? I know they’re circling the drain!

They can stand in the welfare lines for their pensions just like the factory and steel workers!

    Stupid f~~~s!

Raising taxes is how they got into this s~~~, i think the article said 2008 when the governor came into office he raised taxes soon thereafter. When will liberals learn, you can’t tax your way into prosperity.

You know what the worst part of the collapse will be. When the welfare whores and others a rioting due to welfare checks bouncing and foodstamps no longer being accepted, the police will have blue flu over not being paid.

LOL! Once this all hits the fan you actually believe a fence is going to hold this s~~~ in.

If you look at the map of murders in Chicago, it goes through the middle of Chicago, with the rich sections surrounding the poor sections of that city. There are no strategic choke points between the poor parts and rich parts of Chicago. If the cops go on strike, the rich in Chicago are screwed.

The bottom line… if you’re in Chicago and you’ve got money, GET OUT NOW.

Maybe they should move the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs out of the state.

Team re-location for reasons of safety

I’m almost certain this is how the purge started. The purge was created to get rid of people on government assistance. Maybe a new Purge can get rid of leftists

I live in the State of Illinois, and I have a lot of blame to go around. I blame Michael Madigan (D), because he refuses to cooperate with anything Governor Bruce Rauner (R) proposes. For god’s sake, the governor ran a multi billion dollar business, I think the man would know more about how to make a budget better than idiot Madigan can. The guy, Madigan, just refuses everything the governor does, just because of being on the opposite political party as Rauner. Not only do I blame Michael Madigan, but I also blame Rod Blagovovich (still in jail), and Pat Quinn, because they spent and taxed this state into the bankruptcy we’re facing now.

I also blame the people of Chicago, because half the state’s population comes from Cook County Chicago, whatever they vote, usually gets voted in. Look at the race in 2010 between Pat Quinn and Bill Brady; Bill Brady (R) won the whole geographical map of Illinois, except 4 counties, one of which was Cook County where Chicago is, and still he lost. If it wasn’t for Chicago being so liberal, this state likely would of elected better people.

What also sucks about this budget crisis is that after June 30th, we won’t be able to play Mega Millions and Powerball lottery games. I don’t know why it should matter, because the state collects millions in taxes if you win, plus the losing tickets pays for the winning tickets. So why should it matter? This is just like a few years ago when they wouldn’t pay all lottery winners who won over $25,000. Now they’re screwing lottery winners again.

So nice going you Democrat bastards; you sent us to bankruptcy and I know you don’t care to the rest of us, because you’re all rich people who can afford all the economic crisis you get us into!

Think about it like this, if August comes around and the kids aren’t able to go to school, you can open up a daycare and charge a s~~~ ton.
