IMHO the only reason that this site has “stabled out” is that there is a form of moderation currently in place as long as KM is hanging around, but when he can’t be the den mother as he is a BUSY MAN, and there has to be some form of “management’ around so wacko posters can be dealt with on a timely basis.
Personally, I don’t care if it’s moderators, or the type of system like KM was talking about where each member has the authority to strike/vote a post down and if a post receives enough strikes/votes from anonymous members then the OP gets put into spectator mode for a period of time, and if it happens again then they are timed out for longer periods of time etc.
The point is that in order for quality content to be posted and actively replied to there NEEDS to be some type of DAILY oversight because we all saw/experienced the amount of CRAP/DAMAGE that JUST ONE PARTICIPANT can create in a relatively short period of time when this place is left “unguarded”.

At least a third of them: KM is aware about that since he removed all those threads.
