Anybody heard of Steve’N’Seagulls? What other cover musicians do you guys like?

Anybody like Leo? He does some awesome cover songs too.

This my first car! There you are, sweety! 😀
I drove exactly the same car when the police pulled me over.

Michael Bolton – Every song he ever sang.

Jackie: How do you write women so well?
Melvin Udall: I think of a man and I take away reason and accountability.

Steve ‘n Seagulls did a cool cover, too

"Him, who delights in solitude, is either a wild beast or a GOD!" - Aristotle (Aristot. Pol. 1.1253a) 1 Hom. Il. 9.63; the passage goes on: ἐστὶν ἐκεῖνος ι ὃς πολέμου ἔραται.

The only consistent one I can think of is Weird Al and he doesn’t really count I don’t think. Still some good stuff though.

Don’t really listen to them much anymore but Twiztid did some pretty weird covers for rappers.

Then there’s some Korean pop group that waited a few years to get the rights to do a particular song, not sure if it translates to the same thing though. One I definitely prefer the cover to.

I don’t recall who exactly the original is by but I do like CAS cover of ‘keep on loving you’.

Lastly I’ve been listening to this in preparation for the sequel being remade for the US soon. Original soundtrack is just fine but I do like these quite a bit.

"I have the fury of my own momentum." "With this ring I thee wed. Fire walk with me."

I have to admit.. I was enamored but the “girls generation” Korean pop group. Theyre cute… Didnt hear a word of their singing though. I played some classic R&B instead… BD

Yeah, those cello guys rock and that Steve’N’Seagulls cover was the first one I ever heard from them. Loved ’em ever since.

Don’t really care for the music of those Korean girls, but damn, their dancing is hypnotizing. They are sweet.

REO Speedwagon did “Keep On Lovin’ You”.

They are a little flatter than I’d like, but yeah I like their dancing, and at least compared to whoever Duffy is I prefer their voices anyway.

That said, I think my favorite among female singers might be Emi Evans. Not that I listen to many, but with games it’s hard to avoid. The original Drakengard has an ost that’s a bit of an acquired taste, but Drakengard 3 turned some into more conventional tunes:

"I have the fury of my own momentum." "With this ring I thee wed. Fire walk with me."

Oh yeah, great song by Pink Floyd and that is a very good cover.
