Take care all. We live in dangerous times. I have replaced the video as some of my bros say they can’t see it. One of these should work, Sorry about that guys.

If not working use this proxy and URL
    http://europroxy.pw/
Input the URL for the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VazBRA0SOc
    See if that works.

Remember when the days were long
And rolled beneath a deep blue sky
Didn’t have a care in the world
With mommy and daddy standin’ by
    But “happily ever after” fails
And we’ve been poisoned by these fairy tales
The lawyers dwell on small details
    Since daddy had to fly

Oh, but I know a place where we can go
    Still untouched by men
Sit and watch the clouds roll by
And the tall grass waves in the wind
You can lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair fall all around me
    Offer up your best defense
    But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence

    O’ beautiful, for spacious skies
But now those skies are threatening
    They’re beating plowshares into swords
For this tired old man that we elected king
    Armchair warriors often fail
And we’ve been poisoned by these fairy tales
The lawyers clean up all details
    Since daddy had to lie

Oh, but I know a place where we can go
    And wash away this sin
We’ll sit and watch the clouds roll by
And the tall grass waves in the wind
Just lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair spill all around me
    Offer up your best defense
    But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence

    [Instrumental bridge]

Well – who knows how long this will last
Now we’ve come so far, so fast
But, somewhere back there in the dust
That same small town in each of us
    I need to remember this
So baby give me just one kiss
And let me take a long last look
    Before we say goodbye

Just lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair fall all around me
    Offer up your best defense
    But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence

“The End of the Innocence” is the lead single and title track from Don Henley’s third solo studio album of the same name, released in 1989.

    “Fools Gold”

The gold road’s sure a long road
Winds on through the hills for fifteen days
The pack on my back is aching
The straps seem to cut me like a knife

The gold road’s sure a long road

The pack on my back is aching
The straps seem to cut me like a knife

    I’m no clown I won’t back down
I don’t need you to tell me what’s going down
Down down down down da down down down
Down down down down da down down down

    I’m standing alone
    I’m watching you all
    I’m seeing you sinking
    I’m standing alone
    You’re weighing the gold
    I’m watching you sinking
    Fool’s gold

These boots were made for walking
The Marquis de Sade don’t wear no boots like these
    Gold’s just around the corner
Breakdown’s coming up round the bend

Sometimes you have to try to get along dear
I know the truth and I know what you’re thinking

Down down down down da down down down

    I’m standing alone
    I’m watching you all
    I’m seeing you sinking
    I’m standing alone

I don’t mind someone getting paid for their work—but if you are an UBER wealthy celebrity then nickle-diming it seems rather petty and money grubbing.

So writers and musicians should not be wealty?
The money is now made nickle and dime. Thats all were left with.

I listen to free s~~~ too. We all do.
But I dont begrudgerhem wanting to be paid for their HARD WORK.
People have no idea the price paid.
When you here a song, you dont think about what the piano player has been thru. His hunger or homlessness. You just hear a song.

    Son, I’m 30
I only went with your mother ’cause she’s dirty
And I don’t have a decent bone in me
What you get is just what you see yeah
I see it so I take it freely
And all the bad p~~~ ugly things I feed me
I never help or give to the needy
    Come on and see me

I had to crucify some brother today
And I don’t dig what you gotta say
So come on and say it
Come on and tell me twice

    I said dad you’re shabby
You run around and groove like a baggy
You’re only here just out of habit
All that’s mine you might as well have it
You take ten feet back and then stab it
Spray it on and ‘tag it
    So sack on me
    I can’t stand the needy
Get around here if you’re asking you’re feeling

I had to crucify somebody today
And I don’t dig what you gotta say
So come on and say it
Come on and tell me twice

    So sack all the needy
I can’t stand to leave it
You come around here and you put both your feet in

I had to crucify somebody today
And I don’t dig what you gotta say
So go on and say it

I had to crucify some brother today
And I don’t hear what you gotta say
So come on and say it
Come on and tell me twice

Thank you for the show of confidence in my technical ability but I have a confession to make. Unlike most “modern” men when it comes to electronic stuff/computers et al I’m a Luddite–really. God gave everyone some specialized talent for something and unfortunately I got shafted when it came to technology, languages, music (playing)…but he DID give me some talent with regard to The Law, and firearms. Makes me wonder sometimes about his plan for my life.
