Yeah, will be a bad day for society when it happens. Course society will be gone so may be the 2nd best day for society ever. The day it was created and the day it ended. Seems like every day more people spit on the legacy that allowed us to progress to where we were at the highest point.

Worst of that is, post collapse we will never be able to get back to how it was when the founding fathers wrote the declaration and constitution. The works they used are all but forgotten, with few people reading them or even hearing of them (I’ve not met many people who have ever even opened up classical literature.) The level of awareness and planning that went into the document followed by the basic human protections. Good luck getting someone to do that today.

The level of sheer ignorance most people have is staggering. And the instant butthurt when you call people on their bulls~~~ it’s over 9k. Pair that with the participation trophies for sports and kids are taught from a young age that trying gets you results. Guess what in the real world it doesnt and you’re on your own. Know a few people that were academically smart but couldn’t handle real work. Those same people took class spots from others based on meeting quotas, I can think of 4 right now out of my graduating class from college that aren’t even working anymore (2 guesses as to the gender) and there are only 2. The other 60+ odd ones are mental disorders and should be treated as such. Except for people that identify as attack helicopters cause those are the sanest people out of the whole damn group (cause they do it ironically).

But the fact that society is collapsing is no surprise. The haves keep taking and the have-nots keep asking for more, while the makers keep being stripped of the products of their labor. Not necessarily a way to encourage work. And removes any incentive to produce. And since there is no real upward mobility anymore in society, people are giving up. I do the bare minimum now as there is no real incentive to do so and no overtime as that makes me pay more in taxes.

Also there is no loyalty between employer and employees. So further complicates the already dangerous landscape that is employment.

The nuclear family has all but been annihilated and replaced by single mom and cuck raising Chad’s spawn. And that’s the best option as most children have no father figure, which leads to the current criminal increase that puts more strain on an already over taxed working class. That isnt even trying to count the women that can’t pick out their baby-daddy from a lineup of more than football team.

So just about every facet of society has been affected by the cancer that is feminism. From title IX to hiring quotas and removing merit based hiring. Just burn this bitch down.

I have used idiocracy as a reference when talking with many people. Its such a accurate portrayal of modern society that I feel like it was actually recorded from clips on YouTube and sent back in time to make the movie.

THIS should be the template.

This template has all the fixings of success. It also has many people to provide influence. They don’t need to be under the same roof, but close by would be ideal. However, this grew harder and harder as economics did not allow for this most of the time with occupations being even more widespread between men. As a result, this also encouraged women to be able to act on their hypergamy as well as no one was there to keep them in line.

I probably should have been clearer. I used nuclear family to meam one thing but didnt quite get it.

A man is much more likely to want to reproduce and provide for a child if he knows, it is his. In saying nuclear family I meant a relationship in which he can theoretically assume the child is his. It is one of the big things about being a father. Remember a mother can confirm child is hers as she pops it out. There is no such guarantee a child belongs to a guy.

Basically it was used in an attempt to point toward paternity fraud which is all too common.

There are cases showing very similar to what you mean. Thinking about it many parts of the world put a large emphasis on family. I appreciate the correction Mickey. Just a case of what I mean and what I say not being the same.

We have moved so far away from states rights and letting people have individual freedom that collapse is entirely feasible. People do not realize how getting state run healthcare and the like, removing the electoral system, and the latter will be our end. The best thing that could happen for the US would be if the SC started tearing apart unconstitutional federal institutions, like healthcare and education, and return to state rights.

Yup. But then this begs the question of why these smart people do not run the show? Surly, they could forcast this. So my question would be, how do you stop this from going on? How is it possible to counteract the issue? The only thing that I have seen that remotely comes close is China.

The good old Prisoner’s Dilemma.

You and a friend have committed a crime and have been caught. You are being held in separate cells. You are both offered a deal but have to decide what to do. But you are not allowed to communicate with your partner and you will not be told what they have decided until you have made a decision.

So there are two players, 1 and 2. Strategy C is cooperate, D is defect.
There are four outcomes:

CC: 5, 5
CD: -10, 10
DC: 10, -10
DD: -5, -5

The Nash Equilibrium is DD. This is the worst possible outcome.

As Nash found, every competitive non-zero-sum game has at least one equilibrium. This is not always the optimal outcome, as is the case with the Prisoner’s Dilemma.

We see that a mutual cooperation strategy (CC) provides the largest payoff. But D is the dominant strategy because each side has a greater incentive to defect if their partner cooperates. They also have an incentive to defect to minimize their losses in the event the other player defects as well. The Players have no incentive to unilaterally change strategies. The Minimax is DD, so it is the most rational strategy.

Negotiations do not help. Any agreement is non-binding and unenforceable, so both players return to the DD strategy even if they are aware they can benefit more from a CC strategy.

What if there were multiple but finite set of games? Could the players learn to cooperate? No.

That’s not what pushes people over the edge. I think it was Gravel pit that mentioned that there is no choice in life and our path is already predetermined. Partly correct. But incomplete.

I think John Doe figured this out as well. Mental instability follows as one understands the question above.
