This dude that I worked with for over 8 years has finally left the company. The only person that wasn’t surprised was me. They had been abusing him for a long time. The only reasons why they were getting away with it was he wouldn’t stand up for himself and he wasn’t a woman or minority. He finally grew a pair and walked away. He now works at a place that pays about 30% more with better conditions. He couldn’t fight like I can because he doesn’t have the resources like I do.

Management asked me if he mentioned anything to me about quitting. I told them no and that I was just as surprised as they were that he left. WTF?? They treated him like a bedded mistress. They have already f~~~ed you so they feel that they don’t have to do anything for you anymore. I’m starting to believe that the reason why my place of employment is decent to me is because they are well aware that I have the means and knowhow to make things nasty.
I wonder if these morons even realize they had treated him bad and that’s why he left. Damn.

Why aren’t you going for the 30% more? They may be treating you like s~~~ compared to another company! You never know, someplace may pay you double with less workload and more respect!

I’m worth a million dollars a day! I just haven’t found my employer yet!

If the S~~~ gets too DEEP at my place of employment; that will all the reason I need to walk away from the whole damn “career” thingy.

Hell, other people call it a “career”, to me it’s a job that pays the bills, and that’s all I want out of it anyways.

If this ends tomorrow for whatever reason, I will seek out a 3rd shift security job where I’ll have minimal contact with people, and listen to my tunes as I do my rounds.

I will pay the “important” bills, eliminate others, and NOT worry about it.

    I have had ENOUGH !!

I’m glad he found a better job with more pay.

I did the same thing as your did co-worker years ago.

I walked without giving a notice because it was a dead end job and they didn’t respect me.

When I gave my boss my “I quit” letter and handed him my keys, his hands were shaking and he was almost in a state of shock.

Garbage employees are a dime a dozen, but good workers are hard to come by. And if they treat good employees like s~~~, then that’s what they deserve.

On my first day on my new job, I was making $3 an hour more and had better benefits on the first day than I had in ten years at the old place.

Make yourself indispensable to the company, and if they don’t respect you – walk. Your skills and abilities will be appreciated else where.

He gave his 2 week notice but I’m pretty sure he was on his way out about a year ago. He moved about 20 miles away from work when he used to live within walking distance like me. It took him about a year to land a gig close to his place of residence. Once he did that he gave notice. I believe he planned his exit quite a while ago. Good for him. I wish him the best.

Disagree. I still got a little over 4 years in extortion.(child support) If the ex or Family Court finds out I’m making considerably more than before a motion would be filed and I would be back in court faster than my head could spin. We all know that. I don’t need the money anyway. I sure as hell don’t plan on giving any more money to the ex or family court. A special F~~~ YOU goes out to both of them. I’m sure many men are in the same situation as me.

No they are clueless I promise you.

I realized a long time ago that c~~~s and manginas lack the ability to self-reflect.

This makes for a deterrent against going on a rampage. The motive of a rampage is revenge and making a statement through violence.

But, those that provoke such rampages lack the ability to reflect on the reasons that provoked the rampage. Nothing is learned.

It’s taken me a long time to realise the true potential of going Galt. It can be done on many levels.
    Absolute or to different degree.

And it’s of course not all about the work place.

Others know it as saying ‘No’

Me – I like actions. No fuss or drama just walking away.

    Good on your ex colleague.

In the UK, 99% of work-places treat you like s~~~, and wages in UK are f~~~ing low, even for skilled experienced people […]

Agreed 100%. The modern English work-place is s~~~, wages are noticeably low, Management are thick, lazy, and over-paid, and if your are Blue Pill, there are hardly any good-looking females either. It is hard to imagine that England was a great country, once.

    Agree with all that.

Management at my place lie, bulls~~~, ignore crap workmanship (don’t confront the employees!!), don’t communicate, ignore issues, backstab and are generally unfit for purpose. If we go into another recession, I’m not betting that our jobs are safe!
