WaPo Misleads Again: Spins "Unhappiness In America" for Agenda

Okay, so the article title is:

“Perhaps tired of winning, the United States falls in World Happiness rankings — again”

The first line in the article is:

“President Trump has not made America happier again.”

HUGELY MISLEADING. CLEARLY SPIN. CLEARLY TO SUIT AN AGENDA.

Because I’m a geek, I wanted to see the source document. It is a U.N.-sponsored report (THAT tells you there’s an agenda) “World Happiness Report” (which is also HUGELY MISLEADINGLY titled). The report is all about MIGRANT HAPPINESS. A much more accurate headline would be:

“Surveyed Migrants Prefer Socialist Northern European Countries to US”…but that would not fit the agenda.

And the first line in the article SHOULD be:

“Huge report confirms that migrants prefer countries offering migrants easier access to more free stuff” or perhaps “Migrants displeased with President Trump’s actions to Put America First.”

I live in Melbourne, Australia which is ranked as the world’s most liveable city. That really scares me because although I know there is far worse, Melbourne also doesn’t seem to be anything that great either.

Also happiness isn’t worth anything in the bigger scheme of things. Do you think the British Empire was built on happiness?

If they aren’t happy, they should leave. The happiness of the area will increase without them sulking about. See, just the thought of it gave me a bit of a smile.
