So that explains it. I’d been wondering.

I remember the old Man Show he did with Adam Carolla. While it was about as red pill as you can get on commercial television, he and Carolla were acting out roles like any good celebrity or entertainer does.

I’ve never seen his late night chat show but, going by the few commercials, Kimmel’s schtick is now all about acting like a giant tampon. Different audience, different act.
