Voting with Your (Entertainment) Dollars

“Vote with Your Dollars” – the wisest words my mentor ever told me.

This post is about my recent cancelling of Netflix, because it raised some thoughts. First, we all know Netflix doles out the blue pills. When I cancelled, it was long overdue, but I noticed another stock price phenomenon. You see, upon cancelling, I was not prompted with a little box asking me for my reason, that I so inaptly remember. Have they stopped caring? Did the boycotting fall on dry ears?

So, my questions:

1) Obviously, other than Hulu, where else can I spend $10/month for a similar service; Amazon?

2) How in the f~~~ is Netflix doing well in the stock market, having invested billions in new shows and purging customers with a out of sight, out of mind mentality? I am assuming they are inflating numbers and buying on borrowed time, but that seems to be a trend among many companies that chose to go political.

Am I wrong, and if not, is this a feasible strategy to consider later?

If you have separate internet service you need only to buy a platform for kodi and a few of their best addon video applications, set up your network connection to it and your tv, and then pick whatever you want to watch from streaming internet.

I’ll look up a guide. I have my own internet service, as I am the primary resident (allow roommates occasionally). So, I think this is what you mean.

Vote with how you spend money is very important, just need to get more people on board. Would bring an instant stop to some of the mess going on around the country.
