Now I’m not a communist, but I am keen for stability.

Now a little birdie told me that Trump and Putin are buddies, way back, long before election meddling. Putin didn’t have to election-meddle,…..why doesn’t the US know this?

Now, Gazpro, owned by Putin, asked for exploration partly financed by a Canadian oil Company.
A Russian immigrant to Canada was imprisoned for 3 years in Siberia (hard labour); the came to Canada worked for an oil company (now a Canadian)…guess where the sent him…back to his place where he was imprisoned, but this time he’s Canadian. The nameless Canadian oil company invested 10 Billion, when he found a bucket load of gas in mineral rich Siberia, they (Russia) then kicked the Canadian company out….got out with there lives and ten cents on the dollar, ie. 1 Billion. Plus all future revenues from this huge oil find.
Needless to say, the Canadian company does no more business in Russia.
Putin went to all oligarchs in Russia and said pay me half your company or Siberia for you. So, Russia has a tax rate of 50%; now he’s had a lot of $$ for a long time.

Trump borrowed $450 million about 1996 from Putin to not go bankrupt since he did have a casino disaster. In short, Putin saved Trump from a total bankruptcy. Now to Trump’s credit, he paid it back ..all is well. So, we have longstanding business buddies who understand Gazpro’s motives!
There’s good and bad in this, America has never been more economically stable (good everybody can get to work and pay off the debt to China) the bad is American lawyers are wasting time and badly needed money on endless pointless investigations. There’s no way in a million years he’d (Trump) want to help Ukraine get Crimea back. I’m afraid that’s a dead horse.

So, now America “gets” WHY Tillerson’s comments about the UK got him canned. Too bad …he’s really a good diplomat, I’d say Presidential material, although I doubt he wants it. (I guess he shouldn’t have speculated about UK dead spies)

For my part, Canadians are a bit lucky that Russia doesn’t really notice us, any spying would have to be the world’s most boring job!!! Falling asleep and hitting your head against the desks, maybe the occupational risk.
I look forward to renewed relations (NAFTA) so we can all get together and pay off the debt. Putin can build domestic infrastructure bridges roads etc.
Any Putin bravado before an election is just that ….those two are buddies. But and here’s the but….Trump will need ALL of his business savvy…Putin screwed Canada….but in the end it’s all about the money.

Maybe we can borrow some of his ideals and destroy feminism. I think many more countries would be in better shape (Sweden, UK, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, France, Belgium, US, Canada) if the feminist problem was addressed and dealt with. Oh, I understand. In not so many words, you have been stating you are waiting for the west to collapse. It stands to reason that you would have made foreign investments abroad, so you can leave when the collapse happens and live comfortably while the west burns.

Of course, things have gone sideways with President Trump being elected, and if President Trump is successful in his economic plans, than those whom bet against the American workers (whom are the major support for President Trump) have put their eggs in the wrong basket.

BTW, Russia had been feminized the first, way ahead of any country in the whole world. More than 100 years had gone, nothing changed qualitatively…
