Before the Virginia democrats have have passed their anti-1st and 2nd amendment state laws (banning protests under the militia clause and banning guns), they want to ban people from having single family homes. The democrats want to force all the non-elitists to level in apartment complexes where people have no rights against warrant-less searches, must obey the edicts of elitist landlords, and have to deal with increasing rent bills, with little or not legal rights to these abuses.
This will also destroy the value of homes in Virginia, upsetting the people further in a situation that is already politically volatile.
This would be funny if it want not such a tragic farce of stupidity by the democrats.
By doing this, the democrats have made it clear they plan to first take the guns from the people and then take everything else from the people.
Meanwhile the democrats have completely misjudged the situation. They believe any “resistance” will be disorganized and leaderless.
The way things are shaping up, with local government siding with the people, the local country sheriff will be the militia leader of their respective county.
Like many states, the sheriff in Virginia are locally elected by the voters of their county. Sheriffs have a lot of power, they want refuse to follow laws. Also, they can disarm, detain, and escort state and federal law enforcement to the border of their county, and bar them from coming back into the county.
Also, sheriffs have the power to deputize people and create posses.
Militia members will likely be allowed to join these posses on a individual basis.
It is likely that if the state attempts house to house searches, or cuts off water and electricity, it will likely be posses that fight this.
Finally, the democrats have no grasp of how much their actions will cost, just in money alone.

The current Virginia governor added only $250,000 for imprisoning those the defy the will of the tyrannical democrats.
It costs over 30,000 a year to house on inmate, and that is a low ball figure.
That much money will not house ten people for a year.
Also, the Virginia democrats plan to make laws to fire and jail local government officials and sheriffs who do not bow to the democrats. This will only make such officials more inclined to side with the people against the tyrannical democrats.

The only thing that makes this logically by the democrats is they want to start an armed rebellion by gun owners and local governments, have the democrat controlled U.S. House of Congress declare war on all gun owners/Trump supporters (DURING AN ELECTION YEAR), and remove President Trump (& likely Vice President Pence) for not sending the military to commit genocide against President Trump’s own supporters.
If this is attempted by the democrats, they will likely create a pro-U.S. dictatorship.

The home values where I live are ‘rigged’ as in most American suburbs. Zoning rules make it impossible to build affordable (read: multi-family) dwellings in the area I reside in. Only ‘luxury’ apartments are approved by the Commisars, after sufficient bribes by the developers. As a result of these zoning policies, house prices continue to rise. As the population increases, this is an economic inevitability — there are not enough single family homes near workplaces. And people drive further to work as a result. And middle income workers, cannot afford a house near where they work. Homeowners vote for more of this bulls~~~–they want their homes to appreciate faster than inflation — they are rent-seekers.
Where I live, you can’t put an RV in the driveway, and you have to get permission from the government to add on to or modify your house. You cannot rent a single room of a house out. Now, I own a couple rental homes, so I actually benefit from this bulls~~~ of artificially high rents due to artificially high home values — but it’s still very, very wrong.
Opening up zoning is not a BAN on single-family houses. If developers pay to connect to sewers, make any necessary road improvements, etc, they should be allowed to build their apartments. I regard it more simply: The right to do what YOU want with the property YOU own. Allowing the free market to work, would shorten commutes, reduce traffic, and help a lot of people. This is another way Big Government has failed.
Now, I don’t agree with Democrat policies — they just want to control housing in a different way — e.g. set-asides for certain percent of low-rent or rent-controlled apartments, public housing, etc. I don’t believe in any of this meddling — after all, the subprime crisis was CAUSED by government backing the mortgages in the first place!
Why do you think housing is so expensive in cities such as San Francisco? Zoning Nazis! Why do you think we have no RV parks in these areas, even IF a fence were put up around them? Along with laws which allow unions to put stops on projects for environmental reasons, until they get a ‘piece of the action’, so essentially it’s all built with union labor in the major urban areas of California. I’m not in California, it is obviously, the worst cast. But, even in the Midwest, as soon as you leave the large urban counties, house prices drop off a cliff. Right at the border. Why? Not just distance. But ridiculous permitting and approval requirements. Plumbing and electrical inspections. etc
Where I live, they have a minimum yard size. So you can’t even subdivide a yard and share a driveway and build another house. You cannot do what YOU want with YOUR property.

That’s not how it’s done. They do it by making an example out of a few folks, and boiling frogs. They’ll get one guy on domestic assualt, send in the whole SWAT team, and shoot him on camera, proudly broadcasting it to the world (just like Lavoy Finnicum) and the “I can’t breath” black guy in New York. Then, they’ll have a guns for cash program, and wives everywhere will turn in the guns. I haven’t gotten bad information. This information is from the men in the church. They specifically stated they noticed him, they knew he was in a disguise, they were on alert, they pointed the cameras at him, and they deliberately sat near him in church, because they knew something was up. Watch the video: there was time to prepare, there was time to lunge at him after he brandished, but the guy who got shot just stood there, I guess thinking they would just be taken hostage.
I have been to churches – I have heard the sermons, and a lot of these guys would just “love” to be a martyr and die for Christ. It’s programmed into their brains. It’s sad. I am not saying this was the case, but for being on alert, I think these guys should have reacted faster.

Now there is a bill to lower the blood alcohol limit to .05. For those unaware, it used to be .01 then MADD sponsored a bill that won general support by the public to .08 .
The trouble is the bill for .08 has worked well,(mostly because of the side-bars) and there is no need to lower it further.
Now if .05 goes through people on medical perscriptions that contain alcohol will be in violation. Mouthwash could trigger .05 as well for some ppl.
