That’s precisely the point, it offers a lottery-win payday when she inevitably decides to divorce him. It was a business strategy from the beginning. Women are not one bit interested in the man himself.

I saw some captioned picture somewhere where a woman is talking about her rich husband. She says “I didn’t marry him for his money… I divorced him for it“.

I’ve always been curious about the same thing. If the top tier most successful men in the world can’t make a woman happy then what chance would most average guys have?

That’s why I keep saying that it’s an ego thing with guys wanting to get married. Many guys still tend to (falsely) believe that they’re smarter or better than everyone else and that they know how to make the marriage work. They think that they can stay in control.

If a guy can’t control his own ego and gets burned in a divorce then he is getting what he deserves (IMO)…
