    Hello MGTOW brothers,

I am new here. I will post my story in introductions soon. Its a long story so I want to test my formatting first, which is the main reason for this post.

Great to be here and thank you for this awesome MGTOW website with information and stories.

PLUS I watched this car chase movie yesterday I thought it was a good one! No rational plot – but a cool movie with a sense that nothing is more important that a mans freedom.

There is a back story in the movie about what Kowalski is trying to achieve.

he made a bet he could drive from Denver to San Francisco in 24 hours.

He’s wrecked emotionally because his girlfriend died and he was kicked out of the police for ratting on a fellow officer who raped someone.

All goes downhill for him from there.

    Anti hero.

Great film and an all time favourite of mine.

I would settle for that 440 Charger all day.

Yeah i can identify with the emotional trauma part of it. I liked the fact he didnt give a f~~~ about the rules or what was in his way and that he turned down the helpful blonde chick.. and was fair with any people he met. Plus “The last beautiful free soul on this planet”. Man I kinda want to watch it again now. The Blues Brothers was a favorite when I was a kid – but Vanishing Point is awesome.

I did a road trip on my own around part of Western Australia many years ago (2001) in an old Ford Falcon estate I bought for 900 dollars – met some characters, drank some beers and played some pool in outa the way places. Driving through the desert I felt like I was in a Mad Max movie. Looking back I didnt know how good I had it !

I hadn’t seen that movie until MgTower’s brother recommended it to me. I actually used it as an analogy for some men’s lives here awhile back. Sometimes you just got to be a friend to someone even if they are self-destructive. The last thing they may need is pressure to achieve or do the right thing, often they are running from pressure. Just be their friend no matter how hard it is to watch them blow themselves up.

Piece of trivia – they actually used 7 Dodge Challengers for the Vanishing Point Movie.

Only one had a Magnum engine. It still exists.
